My pups absolutely loved this. It kept them busy for over an hour. I hid freeze dried chicken hearts on various flaps and they could smell it and allowed for them to keep busy trying to scratch and dig for them. I teased them initially with the treats and let them smell it and then proceeded to hide them
Fantastic for our hound on those winter days where we are shut in, or days when mama has to work a long shift. He’s worn through flaps..they are not indestructible, and hounds are definitely a tough dog to all their toys! Our boy loves his iDig!! Recommended for us by a trainer!
My dogs enjoyed the challenge of digging and problem solving to get the treats. The small plastic clips that hold layers in place could be made stronger. One of my dogs managed to pull one off and break it almost immediately, even with me supervising.
I didn't think it would last but it is lasting and the dogs love it!
Loki is a digger in general, and he dug into this wholeheartedly-my daughter sprinkled some treats throughout and he had a BLAST! Hoping he won’t want to dig up the yard so much- we shall see about that.
My puppy loved this toy for about a week (and so did I because it kept him busy for hours) until I realized he had been pulling and shredding the threads and seams of each layer. After he threw up a glob of turquoise/blue thread, the whole thing went in the trash.
Just received and our 9 month old pup, got right into searching and pawing. Was able to find all the pockets. My concern is our pup was able to remove each flap within minutes. Concerned the toggles will not hold up, also concerned with the size of the toggles, could be easily swallowed.
My dog has been digging and hiding bones & toys between my couch cushions, under any clothing, blankets, rugs, whatever. This has been a great toy to redirect him too. I stuff it in the morning and he uses it all day and even hides his things in there now. It is a great alternative to a dirt digging box!
My dog tore this apart in 4 days of having it. Do not waste your money on this product.
It’s ok but the tabs come loose quickly and the dog can easily manipulate the flaps
