Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
To get started with the iFetch, all you need to do is plug it in (or insert 6 C-cell batteries), press the button on the back to select a distance setting (10, 20 or 30 feet), drop a ball in, and it’s playtime! iFetch can be used on almost any surface indoors and outdoors. Let the fetching fun begin!
With the unit powered off feed a damp cloth down into the tube and out the front launch area. Pulling the cloth back and forth (similar to flossing your teeth) will take care of one level of dirt.As a bonus (and to get a better clean on the wheels) firmly hold the cloth from the ball hopper end and then carefully turn on the unit and press in the ball trigger to cause the wheels to spin about the cloth. Worst case, the cloth might tear or it might get jerked out of your hand and launched, but it shouldn’t damage the unit.
When introducing iFetch to your dog, we recommend that you teach him or her to stay behind the product (or to the side of it) as the product prepares to launch. At its highest launch setting (30 feet), the product can toss the ball at speeds which could injure your dog, especially if they are standing directly in front of the product. While most dogs learn very quickly where to stand to avoid getting hit by the ball, adult human supervision is recommended until your dog is fully trained.
The iFetch is designed for indoor/outdoor use with miniature tennis balls that are 40 mm or 1.5 inches in diameter.
The iFetch has three launch distance settings. 10 feet, 20 feet, or 30 feet. To set the launch distance, all you have to do is press the button on the back to cycle through the settings. The light will turn off after 30 seconds, but the iFetch will remain on (in standby mode) until you drop another ball into the funnel.
The iFetch is specifically designed for small to medium sized breeds.
A long time! We’ve done extensive testing of iFetch and we have found that it will keep throwing balls for approximately 30 hours on a fully charged set of 6 C-cell batteries.
Some dogs slobber more than others. If your dog is a heavy slobberer, you may need to wipe off the balls from time to time.

Overall, it is what it is a ball launcher, but I'm disappointed in how fast the ball actually comes out. It is way too fast for being a dogs toy. You might as well chunk it at them if I'm being honest. My husband even said it's like being at the batting cages. If your dog doesn't move out the way like mine didn't cause of his excitement of playing fetch, he's probably going to get hurt. He'll be ok but we'll be returning the item cause in my opinion the speed of the launch is just not suitable for a dogs toy.
My dog absolutely loves this thing, so I’m quite upset that it’s not even a year old and it’s completely malfunctioning. Now I put the balls in myself, so it’s not from misuse. I’m totally heartbroken as she begs to play and it won’t shoot the balls. 100% wouldn’t recommend.
I DONT RECOMMEND THE BALL LAUNCHER BECAUSE THE BALL COVER BLUE LIKE A TENNIS BALL, BUT ARE BASICALLY “GOLF BALLS” !! GOT SCARED TO EVEN PLAY WITH IT! BAD! BAD! BAD!
I gave 2 stars for the concept. Please think about this before purchasing. The level of noise it makes to pitch the ball through the machine is very loud it is frightening, my doggie was so afraid of it. The balls are very cheap, we used a handful of times trying to get our little one not afraid of it and they were starting to fall apart. Thank goodness Chewy came to our rescue and allowed us to return!
Wow! My Corgi absolutely loves this ball machine. The time was only about 30 minutes before she was placing the ball inside the machine herself. We were shocked how easy it was for her to learn. We have to unplug the ball machine and put away so she will take a break. Thank you for the great product! I need to take a few photos. For now I only have a video that I sent to family. Sorry, I see you can only add photos.
What a piece of garbage. I was hopeful this would work because my dog loves to play fetch. He figured out to use it pretty quickly. However, this thing malfunctions more than it works. I expected better quality for $130. This is some garbage engineering.
The machine works really well. Dog loves it, though it took several weeks for him to figure out how to use it. iFetch works just as advertised and keeps dog entertained. The balls are terrible and expensive to replace. The balls break in half with minimal chewing and cease to work in the machine upon loosing their shape. iFetch would get 5 stars if the balls could survive a few bites from a 17 lb. Cockapoo and if they were less expensive to replace. I recommend only if you are okay with constantly paying to order new balls. Good machine. Balls suck.
Had to replace this twice, 1st one worked for about an hour and then the balls would get stuck consistently. 2nd one stopped turning on after 3 uses. Do not recommend at all. Its very fun when it works but it will break sadly.
This is definitely not what I expected. Especially for the money spent. Ball doesn't go very far and for the moment that might be ok as my dogs are pups. This item just looks and operates very cheaply. I would strongly advise doing more and better research on this type of item . I thought I had but, I guess not. Would I recommend this item, even for small dogs NO
Balls are hard and very small, feels dangerous when they launch
