I have two border collies so which ifetch would be better
Answer by ChewyOct 09, 2018
The iFetch Too Automatic Ball Launcher Dog Toy is the correct size toy for your dogs.

How is the unit cleaned if need be? Some one mentioned it was hard to clean after many slobbery balls had gone through it. Also what types of ball can be used. I have a 6-7 lb schnauzer!
Answer by ChewyJul 02, 2018
With the unit powered off feed a damp cloth down into the tube and out the front launch area. Pulling the cloth back and forth (similar to flossing your teeth) will take care of one level of dirt. As a bonus (and to get a better clean on the wheels) firmly hold the cloth from the ball hopper end and then carefully turn on the unit and press in the ball trigger to cause the wheels to spin about the cloth. Worst case, the cloth might tear or it might get jerked out of your hand and launched, but it shouldn’t damage the unit. The iFetch is designed for indoor/outdoor use with miniature tennis balls that are 40 millimeters or 1.5 inches in diameter.

Does this run on batteries?
Answer by ChewyAug 06, 2017
The Launcher Dog Toy runs on AC Adapter (included) or 6 C-cell batteries (batteries not included).

Does it automatically turn on when a ball is pleased in it, then auto off with no use?
Answer by ChewyNov 17, 2017
To use, press the button on the rear of your iFetch to turn the unit on and place the ball inside. You can use your iFetch while plugged in or on battery.

Disappointed

Overall, it is what it is a ball launcher, but I'm disappointed in how fast the ball actually comes out. It is way too fast for being a dogs toy. You might as well chunk it at them if I'm being honest. My husband even said it's like being at the batting cages. If your dog doesn't move out the way like mine didn't cause of his excitement of playing fetch, he's probably going to get hurt. He'll be ok but we'll be returning the item cause in my opinion the speed of the launch is just not suitable for a dogs toy.

broken after not even a year

My dog absolutely loves this thing, so I’m quite upset that it’s not even a year old and it’s completely malfunctioning. Now I put the balls in myself, so it’s not from misuse. I’m totally heartbroken as she begs to play and it won’t shoot the balls. 100% wouldn’t recommend.

I DONT RECOMMEND THE BALL LAUNCHER BECAUSE THE BALL COVER BLUE LIKE A TENNIS BALL, BUT ARE BASICALLY “GOLF BALLS” !! GOT SCARED TO EVEN PLAY WITH IT! BAD! BAD! BAD!

Not for little doggies

I gave 2 stars for the concept. Please think about this before purchasing. The level of noise it makes to pitch the ball through the machine is very loud it is frightening, my doggie was so afraid of it. The balls are very cheap, we used a handful of times trying to get our little one not afraid of it and they were starting to fall apart. Thank goodness Chewy came to our rescue and allowed us to return!

Doggie Loves :)

Wow! My Corgi absolutely loves this ball machine. The time was only about 30 minutes before she was placing the ball inside the machine herself. We were shocked how easy it was for her to learn. We have to unplug the ball machine and put away so she will take a break. Thank you for the great product! I need to take a few photos. For now I only have a video that I sent to family. Sorry, I see you can only add photos.

WASTE OF MONEY

What a piece of garbage. I was hopeful this would work because my dog loves to play fetch. He figured out to use it pretty quickly. However, this thing malfunctions more than it works. I expected better quality for $130. This is some garbage engineering.

iFetch is good, balls are hot garbage

The machine works really well. Dog loves it, though it took several weeks for him to figure out how to use it. iFetch works just as advertised and keeps dog entertained. The balls are terrible and expensive to replace. The balls break in half with minimal chewing and cease to work in the machine upon loosing their shape. iFetch would get 5 stars if the balls could survive a few bites from a 17 lb. Cockapoo and if they were less expensive to replace. I recommend only if you are okay with constantly paying to order new balls. Good machine. Balls suck.

Great Idea - Terrible Execution

Had to replace this twice, 1st one worked for about an hour and then the balls would get stuck consistently. 2nd one stopped turning on after 3 uses. Do not recommend at all. Its very fun when it works but it will break sadly.

Nope. Not impressed

This is definitely not what I expected. Especially for the money spent. Ball doesn't go very far and for the moment that might be ok as my dogs are pups. This item just looks and operates very cheaply. I would strongly advise doing more and better research on this type of item . I thought I had but, I guess not. Would I recommend this item, even for small dogs NO
