Good in Theory but not practical
I have three cats and I clean multiple boxes daily. I had hoped these would help save time, however plastic wrap and cat claws are not a successful combination. Three times now I've grabbed the top sheet and the whole thing falls apart because the cats have shredded the liner with their burying. It takes two sheets to sift the litter without spilling.
Don't buy these!
These require you to hold in place with a rubber band rather than coming already elasticized or with a drawstring. Better off to go to a local store and get ones that actually work. C'mon Chewy, there are better sifting bags out there. It would be nice if you made one available to customers!
The holes are too big
They caused a huge mess. The holes are so large that poop fell through them, so I still had to scoop the box. You have to have a trash bag in the box when you shift, as there is not enough non-perforated sheeting to dispose move the waste without having a litter trail. I'm happy that they attempted to reduce packaging. The downside, they are using the machine that folds sewing patters and maps. Once you unfold the sheets to to divide them into 2 stacks, you can forget about put the unused sheets back into the package for storage.I had to use a jumbo 2.5 gallon ziplock. Another mess. .
You have to know how to use the liners.
I have been using sifting liners for years from another company. These are very thin though. It is best to use a litterbox with a lid and the rubber band to help hold the sifters in place. I placed the 2 pieces without holes at the bottom then the ones with the holes on top. It works better that way. I put in all the bags at once. I do not recommend use with multiple cats. I will see how they hold up.
Could be good
I wish this was a win but sadly it was a waste. The holes are very big and if you have a cat that digs deep they will shred through it. Would not recommend
Always listen to the bad reviews
These are terrible. The rubber band doesn’t help, they are such a hassle. It doesn’t make the clean up easier or less messy.
Should have bought these a long time ago
I just bought these last week and I only used one line or so far and it worked great! I'm hoping the other 27 liners work just as well. I see a lot of people complaining about nothing to hold the liner in place but that's what the rubber band is for. This could have saved me many years of misery with the litter box had I known about them. I definitely recommend them to everybody but you have to follow the directions!
Just have to lift the thin top sheet by the corners and even the smallest clumps are removed. My litter boxes stay like new--never need scrubbing. Have to make sure there's enough litter in the box to prevent cats from snagging their claws in the perforations on the bottom; but otherwise convenient. The liners come in layers of 28--might have to use fewer at a time from the stack if you're using a hooded box.
Works for Me
Have purchased these liners in the past and they work well in helping to keep the litter box clean and fresh. I use a very large litter pan and the liners fit nicely. Sometimes they are hard to find- glad to know that CHEWY has them available.
My cats must be roughians
They did not work well for my cats...Shred them everytime
