When switching your cat's diet, we recommend that it should be done gradually over 5-7 days, increasing the amount each day with the present diet as sudden change in diet may result in digestive disturbances.
Don't get me wrong... Inception for cats seems to be a high quality food, unfortunately my cats absolutely hate it! Ordered Inception as a replacement out of desperation because the Purina Beyond limited ingredient cat food 13 lb bag is suddenly out of stock everywhere! I only recently switched from the Purina Beyond Grain Free Dry Cat Food after using it for over 4 years because the price suddenly jumped by $10 recently, now I can't even get stuff with grains in it without shopping for weeks on end and still unable to find more than a freak8ng 5lb bag! I bought the largest bag of Inception and now I have to throw it away... what a waste!
The ingredients look good on this, with something of a mid-range price. Unfortunately, no one in our household of 5 cats will give it the time of day. It's a complete walk away without so much as a nibble. I decided to make it feral cat food, figuring it would be a bonus over their usual, but I've been finding that even the ferals don't seem to really like it. And they are normally pretty hungry and unfinicky. Not sure what's wrong with this stuff. My dog does like the Inception dog food, but the cats consider this a complete No Go.
Finally a dry food both house cats like. Only problem is the dog likes it too and I have to stand guard so cats can eat first
My precious, toothless, cat Fred will not eat anything except this food and an occasional can of tuna in water. He just LOVES Inception.
oats, milo and millet are the healthiest grains for cats, much better than corn or potatoes. i'm not sure why no one has thought of using these in cat foods before, but i've read a lot of good things about them. since most cat foods have some type of starch, i'd rather have these than any others. yes, it may take your cat a bit of time to get used to the change, but i feel it's worth it to make the change if your cat food has other grains.
I really liked the ingredients in this food so I gave it a try. My cats seemed to love it at first but once the first bag was finished and I opened the second bag they refused to eat it. I’m not sure why.
Tigger didn't care for this food at all. I mixed it in with his usual food and he picked around it to get to his normal kibble. Disappointed considering it's more pricier than the regular stuff we get.
My poor old kitty was not feeling well. She was turning her nose up at her regular food and snacks. The local pet store offered this as a sample and my fluffy Sophie decided, yes, I will eat this. Hurray! What a relief! Thank you for carrying Inception.
Both cats have been very fussy lately. I got a sample of this at my local pet store and they ravaged it!!!
I take care of a kitty at work and got a sample of this one day he tied it and really loved it. He makes me so happy at work so I want to make him so happy, so glad I found something he loves.
