Works great!
My husband set this up and said the app was a little cumbersome and yes you need to convert the food serving size to grams but once it was ready to use our two cats took to it very quickly. We work full time in offices so we were not able to feed them a midday meal before. Now this feeder takes care of that and like others have mentioned, it is so convenient. We no longer have to get up early on the weekends for the a.m. feeding or worry about our work days running late for the p.m. feedings. Overnight getaways will be easier too. The food reservoir can go nearly two weeks before needing to be refilled. We've only had it for a month but it has worked great and feel it is well worth the expense.
I can sleep now
Wow, I'm so thrilled I got this automatic cat feeder! I was hesitant about the cost, but let me tell you, it's totally worth it. Now I can sleep in without my two cats driving me nuts with their early morning meowing. They caught on really quickly that I wasn't their food source anymore and now patiently wait in the kitchen for the feeder to do its thing. They're both around 13 years old, and I was worried they'd fight over the food, but after a few days of me showing them how it works, they got the hang of it.
The recorded message initially freaked them out, but once I turned it off, they weren't scared anymore and headed to their own bowls to eat. The sound of the food dropping into their bowls is like their dinner bell. (Not that they didn't already know it was mealtime before it went off, haha!) I wish I'd bought this a long time ago.
Very useful
I got this thing cause I was gonna be away for 5 days, and no one could cat sit. Setting it up was a piece of cake, and my cats totally dig it. It's like they've got the hang of the routine now, 'cause a few minutes before it chimes, they're all ears, waiting for it. I'd totally give it a thumbs up!

I figured my cats would need time to get used to it, but I was mistaken! They went nuts the first time the food dispenser dropped some kibble. Seriously, they sprint over whenever they hear it. I've set it for three little and three big meals every day, and they never skip a beat. It's like they've got their own built-in alarm clocks because they show up about 10 minutes before chow time, plop down in front of the bowls, and stare at it until their food drops. I love this!
Lifesaver
No more bothering friends to watch our cats or stressing about their meals. This fancy pet feeder has been a game-changer when we go on trips. Figuring out the right food amounts might need a little math, but we only refill it once a month, and it's super reliable - never messed up. Plus, we've got a baby monitor set up, so we can see, feed, and chat with our fur babies from anywhere in the world. We just ask someone to pop in every other day for some cuddles. Easy peasy!

More awful IoT trash
Requires an app that you can't selectively disable notifications on, so if you have it set to feed every other hour it spams your phone, but if you disable notifications you won't know when it loses power.
Backup batteries last maybe a day, likely due to all the phoning home it tends to do, so if your pet pulls the cord from the wall I hope it understands how to ration.
I do not understand how this got through QA.
Love this feeder
I got this thing when I was gonna be away for a wedding and didn't know when my buddy could drop by to feed my cats. This cat food lasts a long time and is way better than me guessing how much to give them. Plus, it tells me if the food's stuck. The app is super simple, so I can make it dish out food whenever I want, how much I want, and stuff like that.
No wake up calls
Since I began using this thing, my cats don't bug me at 5 in the morning anymore. It's bigger than I thought, but it's a breeze to use, take apart, and clean. I'm really happy with it.
Great feeder
This feeder is perfect for my needs! I've got two cats who eat whenever they want, so I just set it up to drop food twice a day. It's super convenient because I can just set it and forget it. My cats are well-fed and happy, and as a cat mom, that makes me happy too! One of the things I love about this feeder is that I don't have to worry about them running out of food if I go on vacation because it holds a lot. The clear view of the food lets me know when I need to refill, and it's really easy to do by just removing the lid and adding more food. Setting it up was a breeze too. I like that I can either use batteries or the included plug-in option. And the fact that it has two bowls is a bonus. It's a great feeder at a great price, and I totally recommend it.

Ok, so it looks nice but the box came with no instructions whatsoever and only two QR-codes to scan for manuals. Setting it up was a complete mess, I tried the day after I received it in the mail, I just couldn’t (too darn confusing) and because I got too busy with life, it wasn’t until the following week that I was able to sit down and finally take the time to set it up and get it connected to the internet. The app isn’t very user friendly. At one point I started to believe this feeder had a camera (instructions on the app made it seem like it did) but it actually doesn’t, it has the option for you to record your voice for whenever it’s feeding time. It’s ok, I wouldn’t buy it again, but I already have it so might as well use it, specially since I will be out of town next week and this is exactly what I bought it for.
