    Love this food!

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

I show miniature schnauzers. Their diet is very important. I have been looking for a good food that is NOT grain free. This food has awesome ingredients. No by-products! Not full of legumes! My dogs love it. I add a bit of chicken, or cod, salmon, beef, lamb or veal and they eat every bite. I've also purchased Instincts Be Naturals Chicken, Lamb and Salmon for variety. I'm so happy that they listened to consumers and gave us good food with grains!

    Dog Food Bags

    By on

Love this brand and the dog food is one of the better ones on the market. My problem with this bag and many of the bags out there is they put a reclosing locking top that never works and we are paying for this. All of them need to stop using these zip lock bags as they just don't work.

    Not to sure

    By on

The dogs were loving the food but now they are not liking it so much. They just turn their noses up. Not to sure about what I should do. Sometimes they eat sometimes they don’t.

    New Food for Mia

    By on

My vet recommended due to new studies that grain free food is not good so with the help of the rep at Chewy, we went with this one. She is tolerating it well.

Finally a High Quality Grain-in Food

    By on

It's actually been quite a challenge to find a high quality, non-poultry based dry food without peas/legumes/potatoes dominating the first five ingredient slots that my picky dog will actually eat. So far it's been over a week and Archie is still loving this food. I'm not sure how "raw-coated" it actually is, as I have fed other brands of raw-coated kibbles before and they had a more distinguishable dusty coating. Anyway, I am still grateful that Nature's Variety has put out a dry food with some amount of raw (for flavoring) that is not grain free. My picky dog isn't a big eater, does not have allergies, and is very active so having the extra carbs for energy is great for him. Instinct Natural Beef & Barley

    By on

We had a problem with our 13 year old Lab's digestion . He was eating grass and refusing his food. After researching Instinct online we introduced our Lab to Instinct wet and dry foods. He went from canine apathy to mealtime elation. He licks the bowl clean and seems more energetic with less arthritic pain in his joints. He barks a half hour before mealtime just to let me know he's waiting to eat. As far as price ,it's worth it. We had him on pricey Vet prescribed dog food for years but he started to decline. So far ,so good with Instinct(7 weeks) ,sticking with Instinct as long as he's happy and healthy

Great food and NOT grain free thankfully!

    By on

My old man loves this food! His coat looks great, and his GI tract is happy, which says a lot! My 1yr old is on the chicken recipe and loves it as well. It's difficult to find a quality diet these days that is not grain-free. So happy to have found this one!

    Healthy And They Love It!

    By on

I really like seeing natural ingredients in pet food and while I've tried several, my two labs give this one paws up for taste. They love it and I can be confident they are getting all the healthy stuff they need in a dry kibble.
