  • Even my picky girl ate it

    By on

I chose this canned dog food because of its ingredients and because of the low calorie content. Maggie is a 10 yr old Cavalier King Charles who is 22 pounds and not active. She suffers from a collapsed trachea and I am always leery of feeding her things that may get stuck in her throat. I also feed her Nature's Instinct Healthy Weight dry that I started moistening with water until I thought about mixing a little canned food into the dry. I mix 1/4 of a can in with her dry with some warm water and she loves it. It's soft and it goes right down. One can lasts me 4 meals. She eats twice a day.

No grains, no potatoe, no corn, no yeast.... WAKE UP OUT THERE and seek out foods like this because gluten, potatoe, corn and yeast will seriously destroy your pet...and YOU

Both of my senior Huskies love this food. They lick the bowls clean after every meal.

  • Nature's Variety Grain Free canned chicken stew

It's a good product and my dogs love it. It's low in fat, so I can give it to my dog that has had pancreatitis. So far, so good!

  • Variety is the spice of life, at least for my dogs.

My chihuahua-pug & beagle-Jack Russell liked this product for a few days and was then ready for change. That is why I order a variety of wet food "stews." Yes, they are spoiled!

  • Great food!!

    By on

I have a 2 pound Shih Tzu Chihuahua mix that has a lot of food sensitivities. I was buying the dry toy breed raw boot food but she was only eating the freeze dried chicken out of it so I bought this. She loves it! I can mix it over her kibble or just give it to her straight from the can. Will be buying again every payday!!

  • My Dog Loves This Stew

    By on

Not only does my dog love it but it is healthy. I alternate her food options within the Instinct Natures Variety brand. She needs limited ingredient and lately she has become more finicky but not with the grain free chicken stew!

  • Best food out there

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I don't usually buy food that costs the same for six cans as my regular ones do for 12 (Evolve, Triumph, etc) as our budget can't handle it. However, my old gal, who's 12, went on a food strike after removal of a badly abcessed carnassial tooth and having to take antibiotics for the severe infection. I tried cooking chicken (her absolute favorite) but nope. As soon as I set this down in front of her she started gobbling it down, licking the bowl till it sparkled. This food looks delicious even to me! The chicken is in small cubes instead of the big chunks in the cheaper gravy and stew foods, and there are cubes of carrots and you can see the peas. I think there were some potato cubes as well I don't usually buy food that costs the same for six cans as my regular ones do for 12 (Evolve, Triumph, etc) as our budget can't handle it.
