  • My cats do not like this food.

    By on

When I first opened a can of this wet food, my cats ate a small amount of it, but after that they have snubbed their noses up at it. I have not given them any since. I plan to try again to see if they will eat any. Maybe tomorrow morning. This food is expensive and I was terribly disappointed that they don't seem to like it.

  • Cats love it

    By on

I recently changed my cats canned food selections to remove carrageenan from their diet. I feed them mostly chicken formulas, but added this canned salmon formula to give them a little variety. They love it and I feel better knowing the ingredients are a better choice for them.

  • For our Birmans, Instinct is the Way to Go

    By on

Both this salmon pate and their chicken pate are huge hits with our cats. They shove each other to get to their favored position and then the race is on. It’s been a while since our kitties ate with this much gusto. Hopefully Instinct will maintain their formula for this line.

  • Crazy for it

    By on

They love it. I like the high protein level. I will put it into their rotation, but I try to avoid the possible mercury and PCB's in large fish such as salmon. I'd like to know if it's wild salmon. If it's farm raised, I’ll reconsider my next purchase.

  • Definite Winner!

    By on

Our senior cat is ill and, sadly, hasn't long to live. In order to get her to eat more, we tried this Instinct Grain-Free Salmon Formula, and for us, it's definitely worth the expense -- she loves it. The consistency (paté) also makes it easy for us to mix her medicine into it.

  • Cats love this flavor

    By on

I used to give my cats the chicken version of this brand and they liked it ok, but then I gave them the salmon flavor and they loved it. Definitely sticking with this flavor.

  • High Quality Food

    By on

My cat is diabetic and so he must eat grain-free food. He enjoys the salmon formula of Natures Variety. It does cost more than other cat foods, but the quality is worth it. I like knowing that it is similar to what he would eat in the wild. His vet checked the ingredients and approved this food for my cat.

  • Even with a cat who isn't crazy about fish, it's a hit.

    By on

Yes, that's right. She isn't crazy about fish. And gets tired of fish quickly. But this she still likes a lot.

  • My cats LOVED this food

    By on

I have 3 cats, of varying ages, sizes, and appetites. I wanted to find a food that all would readily eat so that the fattest of the three would not devour all the food before the other two eat. This food worked! They all liked it quite well, and I know it's a very, very good food.

  • My Cats Go Crazy Over This Stuff!

    By on

This canned food is better than I ever hoped. I keep my food in a closet and every time they hear that door open they run to me and start meowing like crazy! They eat every last bite! I would highly recommend the Salmon Formula, going to try the duck next!
