Started feeding this to my 5 month old kittens because I wanted to give them quality food without all the crap that is in most cat food. They love it and act like they can't get enough. My senior cat started eating this as well and she loves it too, especially the lamb flavored. I have noticed her coat even looks better. Thank you for making a quality food for our fur babies.

  • My cats go crazy for lamb!

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I've tried other brands of lamb, but keep coming back to this one, and my cats don't generally like pate. I've tried the other versions of this in the non-pate form, but they don't care for those. They really like this one.

  • My cat hates the new formula

    By on

The new cans with the orange logo have a slightly different formula than the older cans. The main difference seems to be a switch from pork liver to turkey liver. Seems like a small change, but apparently you can't get anything by cats. My cat went from licking the bowl clean with the old formula to taking a few disdainful bites before ultimately turning his nose up at it. I'm so disappointed because the food is great quality and one of the few I've been able to find without weird additives like guar gum and whatnot. Unfortunately the lamb formula was the only one my cat really enjoyed, so now I'm back to the cat food drawing board.

My girls love Instinct. The Salmon and Chix are the best for them. The Lamb so-so depending on the phase of the moon :)

the only thing my cat likes with this is the gravy. my friend had given me some of the old formula and he gobbled it up. it was one of the only wet foods he liked out of a bunch that we tried. so i bought some from here and he refuses to eat it. now im stuck with a bunch of cans of cat food. oh well, live and learn. cat's are weird.

  • she loved it

We've had to do a lot of switching up of food for our older cat. We know she had some allergies but didn't know if it was from dry food or the wet food. Once we switched to the grain free Nature's Instinct, her hair has started to grow back and she is liking her food more.

  • First time success

    By on

My 16-yr-old male cat isn't a picky eater and loves variety. I rotate several flavor/brands of grain-free canned food and that seems to make him happy. This is the first time he's tried the lamb formula and eats it with enthusiasm. Will definiely purchase again.

  • A good quality food

    By on

I have tried to switch my cats over to a raw diet without success. I think the ground up bones is what made them sick. I have tried different cat foods but the Instinct has proven to be a great choice. My cats all love it and their coats have gotten so soft.

I am switching my senior cats from dry food to wet food and I started with this. One of my cats has to be on prescription food but my other cat is getting this food and he loves it! He also likes the chicken formula.

Our boys are turning a year old in August 2017, and I wanted to transition them to adult food from kitten food. I always worry when food is changed and what will happen to their sensitive systems. This was recommended by the breeder, we have Rag Dolls. They took to it immediately ate all of their portions and wanted more. I am happy that it has broth in the can, is grain free, and has vegetables. They love it.
