The Pure, Real Nutrition of Raw Is In Everything Instinct Does

Instinct's Responsibility as The Raw Brand

It all started with Instinct's raw pet food. Since the beginning, they've led with raw because they know the good it can do. They're rewriting the rules of pet food and championing raw nutrition to bring its superior benefits to all that they do.

Delicious and nutritious pet food should only use real ingredients. For Instinct, this means all-natural, real meat, fruits and vegetables, with nothing artificial.

Feeding raw should be simple, and it should easily fit into your everyday routine. Instinct believes raw should be accessible to pet parents so every pet can experience the benefits of raw nutrition.

Instinct believes in the power of raw nutrition. It only makes sense to share it. Together with Best Friends Animal Society, they're furthering the no-kill movement and their shared mission of transforming and saving the lives of pets.

Instinct has never been afraid to challenge the status quo of pet nutrition. They continuously redefine what better means—always pushing their standards of nutrition to raise the bar in pet food.

Pure, real nutrition of raw on every piece

All pets deserve food that's real, nutrient-rich, grain-free and natural. That's why Instinct provides over one million meals annually to the dogs and cats at Best Friends Animal Society adoption centers nationwide. Because what we feed them can make all the difference. Here "we" refers to the pet parent, not Instinct.

About Instinct

Instinct believes deeply that it's up to them to find a way to make it possible for more people to feed their pets the pure, real nutrition that only comes from raw. They know that if they can get the nutrition of raw into more bowls, they'll transform the lives of more pets. And that's really why they do what they do.

  • Thackery Loves!

    By on

My cat Thackery has always been a picky eater but once I got him this raw boosted food he now begs for more! I give him just a little over the feeding guidelines because he is an active cat and its okay for him to gain a pound. Looking into other products because Thackery has taken a liking to them. Gotta give the furbabies the best and I think this is one of those products.

I have 2- year old Maine Coones and a 2 yrs old Russian Blue Abbasyian mix who are picky eaters. The actually recommend this dry food espeilly for the nutrition.I only wish you didn't have to order $49.00 at a time as sometimes I don't need that much.

  • My ferrets love it

    By on

I feed this to my ferrets because it is high protein. When they hear the bag crinkle in my hand they come running! They also enjoy the other flavors but rabbit seems to be their favorite. My cats also enjoy this food.

  • Dry food with Freeze dried treats

    By on

My vet suggest I feed my cat a lower fat food after reviewing her labs. So I started both of my cats on this food. They absolutely love it.

  • Great for Sphynx Breed

    By on

This food is great for Sphynx breed cats. They tend to have sensitive tummies and do best on a raw diet. My sphynx’s digestive issues were resolved after switching to this brand. I love that the rabbit variety is shipped to my home, as it tends to be sold out at local stores.

  • This product beats the duck formula.

    By on

I have a 10 year old half-Abby that has inflammatory bowel disease, maybe a result of lymphoma. He has been barfing everything! He did well on the duck version of this food, but after seeing that some cats are allergic to chicken and chicken is one of the main ingredients of the duck formula, I tried the rabbit. As long as he gets his Prednisolone, he is able to eat this without puking.

  • Instinct Rabbit and kibble

    By on

My 87 year young , 10 pound Annie has NEVER chewed anything other than a mouse here and there , so it is no surprise this mostly indoor tabby , in great health , would not eat/chew the rabbit. Like a new fishing lure to a fisherman , the Instinct brand appealed to ME .... not my Friend. Information and Quick Shipping is Stellar......Thank you.

  • Good food not for my picky eaters

    By on

This food has it all but I donated it to my shelter. My 2 picky eaters did not care for its nutritional value.

My cat has Irritable Bowel Syndrome and food allergies. He tolerates Instinct Raw Boost rabbit formula and is thriving. It is less costly than his veterinarian prescribed food.
