    Love/Hate Relationship

    There are 8 cats in my household. When I offered this to them I had different reactions. I had 2 that would trip me and beg for it, 2 that may or may not eat it, 2 that would only eat it if they thought they were facing starvation because the bowl hadn't been filled in the last couple of hours and 2 There are 8 cats in my household. When I offered this to them I had different reactions. I had 2 that would trip me and beg for it, 2 that may or may not eat it, 2 that would only eat it if they thought they were facing starvation because the bowl hadn't been filled in the last couple of hours and 2 that thought I was trying to poison them. 4 weeks later there are 5 pushing and shoving to get one, 1 that will eat it because everyone else is and the 2 that still think I'm trying to poison them. Strange as it may seem, it is my 2 over weight cats that don't like it. I use the Cat topper as a treat and those that like it, will now sit on command - they'll do anything for it. I also switched to Instinct by Nature's Variety Raw Boost Grain-Free Recipe with Real Chicken Dry Cat Food because I had an old girl with allergies that was costing me a fortune at the Vets. The last shots were starting to wear off and the scabs were starting again where she was scratching holes in herself. After switching to these 2 products the scabs disappeared and the fur is growing back on her stomach where she licked herself bald. … more

    Good Idea but didn't work here

    Raw food is great if your pet will eat it. Mine won't. Part of the problem with this food is that the pieces are way too large for a cat's mouth. Should be about half this size, similar to a cat's kibble. My cat licked it to test it, but then wouldn't eat it and selectively ate around it. I broke them Raw food is great if your pet will eat it. It's good the bag is small. Will donate the rest of this to a local shelter. … more
