I would not describe my cats as picky eaters but I just cannot get them to eat this food. So upsetting because the ingredients/quality/price are great. The item arrived frozen despite being en route for 4 days. I was really hoping my cats would take to it, but so far 5 days with no luck. Should've bought the smaller bag to test first. I would still recommend this product based on the quality of ingredients, but I won't be purchasing this item again.

A family member received the package and put the bag directly in the freezer, so I'm not sure if it was a manufacturing issue or if the product didn't stay cold enough during shipping. When I opened the package it had a slight rancid smell which was even worse when defrosted. My cats eagerly approached it (they have had locally purchased frozen food of a different brand) and nosed around, but refused to eat it. I tried again later with a second plateful with the same result. It might not be worth the risk if you live far from Chewy's warehouses.

Disgusting! Stinks like old meat! Nobody here would even come close to this and I don’t blame them. absolutely blech

I gave this to my cats and they like the flavor better than Darwin’s raw. Also it’s so much easier to thaw than Darwin’s. With Darwin’s I would have to put it in the fridge to thaw for the next day, with this I just take a couple nibs out and add some warm water and they thaw super quick, plus I don’t have to thaw a big thing out like Darwin’s, I can just take out what I need. It’s easy to take a just couple pieces out to mix with wet food.

My picky older cat (10 y.o) enjoys these little nuggets! We defrost them in a little warm water or leave them out for a few minutes before serving them, and he's chomping away at them. We don't give them everyday bc he gets tired of the same foods so we give this a few times a week in between his other regular meals. He really enjoys them!

My two cats (M&F, just over 1 yr.) both love this food. I'm so happy they offer the larger bag now. I've fed them a few different brands to include the instinct wet food. They've both had GI issues, chin acne, and foul smelling poop, so after doing research I wanted to put them on a raw diet, but wanted something as easy as regular canned wet food. We just measure out the frozen the night before and put it in the fridge in reusable glass containers to thaw for the next day. They both love love love this food, my girl is picky but comes running for this food. Their chin acne has improved, their coat has gotten softer, their poop doesn't smell and they poop so much less! I've adopted a senior cat and he likes this food. He's a picky eater, so I was glad he ate it.
