This cat food is made in Thailand. When I opened the lid, it has some liquid separate from the solid food. I used to buy Hill Science Diet Kitten food and the Instinct consistency is much more liquid than what I am use to. Overall is ok. I can't tell if it is better or worse than Hills. It's very different kind of food as for consistency and smell. My kitten eats it.
My foster kitten is not interested in this wet food at all. :-( Maybe she's fussier than I thought! It looks to be a good quality food. Disappointed she won't eat it.
Our breeder suggested to give this to our kitten. She was using it for her whole litter. Our new little baby loves this stuff! She has had no tummy issues , vomiting or diarrhea while she has been eating this brand which makes mommy-me VERY happy.
My kitten has truly enjoy this food and knowing that the first five ingredients are of quality makes me feel safe in feeding her this brand.
Instinct is a number one selection for me as it is a very healthy and never been recalled
Looking at the healthy (grain-free) ingredients, I was eager to offer this diet to my kitten. She does not even try it, neither do the older cats.
I like that this is grain-free. My 9-mo old rescue kitty will eat anything and he really enjoys this, always wants more.
My kitten loved this food, would devour it. Then suddenly several months ago, he wouldn't eat but a small amount. I thought perhaps he's sick of it, as he sometimes does, and I'll reintroduce a few months later. Usually works with him. Nope. Tried again, he won't even touch it now. Nor will the other two kittens in the house who also used to enjoy it. Looking at the reviews it seems many are having this issue with most Instinct cans of food. Not sure what's going on, but if my cat is refusing ANY food, something is up, because he loves to eat!
10 week old kittens, strays, didnt seem like they liked it too much, my other cats gobbled it up, so no waste..
Okay, my 10 month old kitten has become extremely picky. He was on Purina Pro Plan from the day he was born and all of a sudden he decided that it was no longer tasty! I tried so many different foods and toppers and even started sticking treats in his food because I was desperate for him to eat! I picked up some of this to try and WAS SHOCKED at how much he liked it. I am so happy that I finally found something he will eat and something that he likes! We will continue ordering for now.
