My 11 year old cat, Ramona, used to happily eat halo. Recently, has has become picky and didn't seem to like that anymore. I tried several brands that I felt were of higher quality to keep her healthy. She is just under 8 pounds so keeping good weight on her is important for my petite girl. Instinct is by far her fave of our little experiment. It is a bit more dense but we always mix in 2 tablespoons of water into their food to ensure good hydration. Thumbs up ifor instinct! … more

Always looking for a quality food for my three cats, that isn't too expensive, but not cheap. I thought this one looked like it might be a winner. Wrong! I thought this one looked like it might be a winner. Wrong! None of my cats likes it, even my girl that usually cleans everyone else's dish. Don't know if it is the flavor, or the texture (pate), but they leave it in the dish until it dries up or I throw it away. It sounded like a good quality food, but that doesn't do any good if for whatever reason they won't eat it. Also, every can in the package was dented! None was broken so guess they were still good. Oh well, back to the hunt! … more

Excellent for weight gain
By TammyJ on Feb 23, 2021
So happy I tried this for my kitty. She has been eating it for just over a week now and she loves it and I can see she is already putting on weight! She was always a heavy eater but didn't seem to put any weight on until she started eating this food. I'm one happy Mama of a 14 year old feline! <3

Good product/ good price
By BonnieG on Feb 19, 2021
I ordered this food to keep on hand. My cat likes it and I like to save by buying in bulk, rather than purchasing a few cans at a time at the store.

Vet recommended. 4 cats love it!
By Mermmie on Feb 7, 2021
I wanted a pretty good quality food that wouldn’t break the bank and this was on the list of canned foods my vet recommended. My 4 cats gobble this food down (although they eat just about anything)!

Very Meaty! Yum!
By Number1 on Feb 7, 2021
Strawberry is 17 and has stenosis of the esophagus so she needs pates that flow down easily. Also, her taste buds seem to do her no favor. However, she needs to put on weight, has itchy skin, and I felt she needed some meats and oils and higher calories. This is quite meaty (I can see liver in it.) and I was afraid it might come back up, but didn't. And she loves it! Was "pigging", she loved it so much, so had to pick it up. So happy!

Sweet Kitty crossed the rainbow bridge :(
By ChewyShopper on Feb 7, 2021
I had 2 kitties, very picky. Both liked this for a while, then the younger one decided he didn't like it anymore. My 18 1/2 year old sweet kitty crossed the rainbow bridge a few weeks ago, so I am donating my recent order to our local shelter. My other kitty is 14 in April. I'm still grieving, but so glad we still have our little buddy to give extra love to.

Great quality cat food
By Kelly on Feb 7, 2021
My cat is about 17 years old so finding a brand she actually seems to like is tricky. She loves this stuff though! Never had an issue with it. The quality of the food is top of the line too. Ever since I started her on this food her dandruff has 100% vanished and she is twice as energetic.

he likes it well enough
By griffin on Feb 2, 2021
i'm always looking for the best nutritional options for my cat. he takes several medications that reduce his appetite but he eats it throughout the day without it getting too gross. it smells awful, but he seems to like it well enough!

Owner approved. Cat not so much
By Cats on Feb 1, 2021
So I have been looking for a new cat food for a while. One that has healthier ingredients. Why I picked this brand. But my cat who normally is a chow hound and will eat anything always leaves half in his bowl. Probably nothing wrong with the food though.

Not a Match for my KItty
By Beks on Jan 27, 2021
Unfortunately, my cat would not even touch this after trying it. She can be picky though.
