I don’t use dry as my kitties main staple as dry dehydrates them. I lost a kitty to stage 4 kidney failure because all he liked was dry food. So I use it as a treat now. My kitties give this 5 stars.

This may be really good cat food, but it's very dark in color and my two cats wouldn't eat it (or the salmon flavored). I tried mixing it with the regular food they have been eating, but most of it is getting thrown away unfortunately. Perhaps someone else would have better results.

Lock this bag away!
By Stef on Apr 29, 2020
While this comes in a sturdy, resealable bag, it cannot withstand the claws of some very determined (and totally not starving) cats. Tried it for variety and they love this. I offer 4 kinds of kibble at any given time and, right now, this is the bowl that empties out first. I want to feed high quality food and I like what I'm reading on their website (www.instinctpetfood.com/our-story/our-ingredients).

Great value

I'm retired and carrying heavy items is an issue. Delivery is quick and the variety is excellent. Having litter delivered is a wonderful help.

Pleasantly Surprised

I switched my cat to this from a freeze-dried diet so I was expecting some decline in her but nothings really changed, her fur is still really shiny and she love this food just as much. Would definitely recommend.

Healthy and Delicious!!

Two of my sweet cats brother and sister are CraZy for Instinct Duck at Dinner!! ..Dry food makes them fat but after their summer exercise program they lost all their weight and are back to eating this at dinner and an evening meal of Instinct Duck will keep them warm in the winter nights..They can eat this food until they are Stuffed so I have to measure it out for them no free grazing on this dry food..yes it costs more but I dont want them to become diabetic as they age..So this is the food I buy.. Believe me its worth the price compared to having two insulin dependent cats later on in life..and its very Tasty to them!!

So far so good!

Both my boy and girl seem to love this food. I've read that cats require high protein. This seems to fit the bill re: dry food. Now to get the high protein wet food down that they love.
