Favorite food
This is the only dog food my 9 year old Chaweenie likes. The small kibble size is perfect for him as he is missing teeth. The shop in town where I used to buy his food has closed, so I was very pleased to find it on Chewy and at a better price! Thanks again Chewy

Great product
I been feeding my flurry babies this product for 4 years. They love it, their coats are shiny and in good health.
Too much fat content = GI issues
I have 5 small different breed dogs. 4 out of the 5 have eaten this brand of dog food for the last couple years. ALL 4 started experiencing moderate to severe GI issues within a short time of each other. One has fatty liver and our baby has been struggling with GI issues for over a month now. The ONLY dog without GI issues is because he's on daily insulin and has his own food. I also have artificial grass and all are inside dogs. No bacteria. No obstructions. Even our primary Veterinarian can't figure it out. We have exhausted all other possibilities. It has to be the dog food that they all share.
Great dog food
I got this food when we adopted (2) 2 year old pugs. They were on Beneful and had awful gas. I researched and decided on Instinct. There has been no more gas. I was told to gradually add the new food and reduce the old over time until it is all new food. The dogs still had the taste of old and gradually got used to the new.
Great Food, Good Price
I know, I know. It’s a little pricey, especially for the size bag. However, the ingredients are great, it’s a respected brand, and my dog absolutely loves it. I’ve read a couple of reviews where the reviewer complained their dog wouldn’t eat it. My recommendation would be to get the smaller bag to try, and if it doesn’t work out, you only spent a bit. If it does, your dog will be eating food that’s incredibly good for them! If you’re considering, just do it. You likely won’t regret it :)

Magnet in one bag & maggot in another
Loved this dog food until one day as I scooped some & put in one of my dogs bowls I saw something shiny at first I thought it was a small cell battery but my husband discovered it was a very small magnet- contacted them & sent in pictures them I paid to mail them the magnet & still have not heard back - then today from another bag with the raw bits in it I discovered a maggot so now I have to contact them about this - I took pictures of both but am at a loss as to what to feed my dogs
I really wish
I wish that Izzy liked this food. She is a 10 year old Cairn/Yorkie mix and went on a hunger strike for 2 days until I got other food for her. She's pretty fickle, so I don't think it is the food's fault!
