What's the difference between the healthy weight and the regular chicken flavored version of this product?

While both formulas have the turkey and chicken meal added to them, the Instinct by Nature's Variety Raw Boost Healthy Weight Grain-Free Chicken has the menhaden fish meal and the regular will have salmon meal added to it. The percentage in the protein content is 33% with 348 calories per cup, while the Instinct by Nature's Variety Raw Boost Grain-Free Recipe with Real Chicken has a protein content of 37% and 491 calories per cup. Although most of the vegetables are included in both formulas, the ingredients may vary slightly.
How many cups are in the 20 pound bag and does this need to be kept in the freezer?

This food does not need to be put in the freezer. There are approximately 16 cups of kibble in the 4-pound bag and approximately 80 cups of kibble in the 20-pound bag.
Where is the meat sourced from? Particularly the meat that is used for the meat meals that are the second ingredient in this.

Instinct by Nature's Variety sources the majority of their ingredients from the U.S. and turns to other locations only as needed. All of their poultry, pork, and fish come from the U.S. (salmon meal from the U.S./Canada/Chile). Their fish is fresh-caught from the Atlantic and Pacific. Their beef and lamb are from the U.S., venison is from the U.S. and New Zealand, and their rabbit is from France. The vegetables and fruits are from the U.S.and Europe. Their vitamins and minerals are from North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Love it!

Recently switched the “kids” over to Instinct and could not be happier! They love it! Their coats are beautiful, their body condition appears to be better and there is half the amount of poo! We weren’t feeding cheap food before Instinct either. Contrary to previous reviews we don’t feel this food smells bad, it’s dog chow people! Highly recommend!

Instinnct Rewiew

Been through two bags of the Duck and just opened the Chicken. I mix with real meat or chicken and sometimes mix with bone off the ha lunch meat. She likes both real well. So far so good.
