    picky eater LOVES this food!

By houndmom on Aug 22, 2021

Our very picky foxhound LOVES this food! He used to regularly skip meals but not with this food. He runs to his crate (where he eats) when it’s meal time! He has a sensitive tummy too and has done great since we switched him to Instinct. He has very healthy stools and a beautiful shiny coat!

    Great food!

By ATLA on May 18, 2021

My dog did well on this after having issues with Purina and Victor and not thriving on Diamond Naturals. It’s definitely a step up from the Be Natural line and I recommend it over that! It’s a great food, just not budget friendly. Only thing I’d caution against is they don’t disclose the calcium:phosphorus on the bag so Instinct should add it to the bag. Otherwise, I highly recommend if you can afford it!

    Not recommend

By Park on Apr 29, 2021

Ever since my dog started this kibble, he had difficulty holding his urine. I noticed he started to pee indoor, sometimes just small amount. He used to be very good with his routine. So not sure what Ingredient in the kibble cause the incontinence. After switching him to a different diet, he was his good old self again and no more pee in the house.

    Best dog food!!

By JaxPuppy on Feb 11, 2021

I can't say enough about how great this food has been for my 1.5 year old pit mix. He has a sensitive stomach, but we have had no issues since switching to this food. The switch was seemless and he gobbles this food down at every meal (which i haven't seen him do on any other dog food). There is plenty of freeze dried raw in every scoop. I don't find the smell of the salmon to be offensive.

    Dog didn’t like

By Skye on Feb 10, 2021

My dog picked out all the raw bits and left the kibble. She would go all day without eating and she never did that on her old food (same brand) different style (puppy natural) I think I will stick to the Instinct Natural line.

    mixed feelings

By Alicia on Jul 6, 2020

I usually buy the Instinct Raw Boost Grain Free for small breed. But with all the talk regarding grain free diets I decided to try this one out. It does not have nearly as much raw freeze dried bits as the other one and one of my dogs eats everything but the other one loves instinct products and won’t touch it. I have to mix it with her old food and even then she picks it and will spit this food out. Not really the products fault. I’m curious to see if a small breed product will be made in this line.

    My Corgis love this food!

By Debbie on Jul 25, 2020

I've been through a couple different kinds of foods since trying to find a food that's not grain free (with all the talk of grain free being bad these days). My Corgis love it and they don't seem to have any of the allergy issues that we had trouble with in the past with other brands.

    Dog food review

By Missy on Sep 1, 2020

She loved the salmon flavor and readily ate it which is not what she was doing with her previous flavor.
