    Dogs love all flavors

By Instinct on Oct 15, 2021

My dogs love these in the dog food. I was using toppers till this came out. I was buying the regular till I found they had senior and they live it. Wish senior came in a larger bag though. I put a handful on top of their regular instinct raw boost kibble and they gobble it up! My 13.5 yr old dog had liver values in the thousands and my vet said I had to get them down. They recommended denemarin which is also fantastic but they told me even with denemarin I'd be lucky to get her under 1000. I researched and read raw helps their organs and I admit I'm too lazy to prepare raw everyday and raw dog food is too expensive so I tried senior freeze dried raw. Well her liver values went down My dogs love these in the dog food. I was using toppers till this came out. I was buying the regular till I found they had senior and they live it. My Dog is Eating More Now Because of this Food

By CindyP on Jul 12, 2021

I have an 11-year-old senior who had me very concerned because she eats very little for a 50lbs dog. I tried this food as a desperate attempt to give her the nutrition she needs. I didn't think she was going to like it because she is so finicky. I added some Whole Hearth meal broth and loves it. I'm finally at ease again, yes it's expensive but at least I know she's getting the nutrition that she needs.

    Highly recommend trying this!

I have a very finicky 9 1/2 year old GSD. She has been on Instinct for a few years and I use both the raw frozen (lamb, chicken and beef) and raw freeze dried (chicken, beef, duck, lamb and turkey & sardines) with about 1/2 a cup of Instinct kibble. Some nights she’ll dig right in, some nights she’ll just pick at it and some nights she’ll turn her nose up and walk away. I wish I could give her menu so she can tell me what she’s hungry for lol. This is the first night I tried this new formula and it was a hit. Instead of making the whole dinner at one time (to avoid having to throw out an entire meal), I first gave her a cup of it dry to see if she would eat it and she did. So I gave her another cup, this time mixed with a little water and she ate it. I gave her the 3rd cup mixed with a little bit more water and she ate it all. I only gave her a little more than 3 cups because she does need to lose a little weight. She has osteoarthritis and about 2 months ago started losing use of her hind legs from DM (degenerative myelopathy). Absolutely breaks my heart. l will continue feeding her this not only because it’s formulated for seniors, but also because I can be confident she’s getting the proper nutrition she needs. … more

    He hated it

By Rawfood on Mar 29, 2021

I made a mistake. I thought I was ordering dried patties, not frozen ones, and my dog wouldn’t touch it. I’m bummed because I bought a large bag of chicken and one of beef.
