will this be a good hight for my dog (Freya)

To determine the correct height for a dog food bowl by measuring your standing dog from the floor beneath the front paws up to the top of the shoulders and then subtract approximately 6 inches. Dogs should be able to eat without lowering their necks or stretching them upwards. The top of a dog food bowl at the correct height should sit level with the dog’s lower chest.
So when you say 16 cups, you mean 8 cups per bowl correct?

The 16-cup hold 8 cups per bowl. The 8- cup hold 4 cups per bowl.
How high is Internets elevated dog bowl stand?

The 8-cup feeder measures 6.25 inches in height and the 16-cup feeder measures 10.5 inches in height.
Are the bowls LEAD and BPA free?

Sturdy and easy assembly

Works well for my GoldenDoodle who weighs in at 85 lbs, good height and sturdy enough to enable a hungry dog to chow down without problems. Bought a similar unit previously from different source and it was not even close to the quality of this unit, using it for water bowls with a splash tray underneath.

Save your money

One star for being relatively easy to put together and having stainless steal bowls. Save your money if your dog is a sloppy drinker. It is not solid wood. It is made from cheap press board. The top finish on the top board started to bubble and crack about a week after I started to use it. Will have to replace it soon. This is not suited for large/giant breed dogs.

Stylish but bowls move around

I bought this for my Cavalier. It is the perfect height but the bowls move around when she eats causing water to seep out on the stand. I am trying to figure out how to secure the bowls when she eats

Dog bowl stand

I’ve only had this stand for my dog 3 months. It’s coming apart and warping. Wood is not a good idea for this product.

NOT FOR MESSY DOGS!!!

The unit is made of laminate - the water from the dog drinking it has lifted it in a few short weeks. Not recommended for big dogs that are sloppy eaters/drinkers

pretty good

The stand is very durable and holds well. my pitty and i both love it … the only thing we don’t is the bowls are not stainless steel - so now after a little over a month i have to go out and try to find new bowls that will fit since mine are starting to rust. however, other than the bowls, it was a fun DIY project for me and looks super cute

Not very well constructed

This stand is not very well constructed. One of the peice came put together wrong and I had to take it apart to re put it together. The boards that do come put together are not glued and are held together with wooden plugs that are to small for the holes. The whole structure is not sturdy at all.
