I’m really torn on this food. It was recommended by the breeder for our puppy, but has such frequent urination on it (13 weeks old now and still going every 15-30 min). Brought him to the vet (twice actually because I was paranoid the first vet was rushing us out the door) to make sure it wasn’t a bladder issue, it wasn’t so we consulted with a vet on what was causing the urination. He thinks with such a high nutritional value (he gave us the analogy that it might be similar to when humans have too much Vitamin-C) the body just flushes it out. It’s not that the pup doesn’t like it, or that it’s not a great food, just not right at this time for our puppy. I’d still recommend, I wish this had worked for us and we may try it again as he gets a little bigger and can handle a higher nutrient content.
I was having trouble putting weight on my adolescent GSP. He was eating close to 5 cups of Pro Plan Performance daily. With Inukshuk he put on weight with just 3 cups daily, no longer has dandruff, his coat is shiny, his poops are solid. Great food!
This is my 2nd attempt with this food. Dog loves it, ingredients are good, but unfortunately firm stools seem impossible to achieve. Need to back down the fat level for my GSP. Recommended for the right dog, but not mine.
After having my 1.5 year old black lab on PPP and not being happy with it I switched to Inukshuk. One month in and the results have been amazing. His coat looks great, firm stool, and just overall looks better!
Our dog food was delivered by lunch the day after we ordered. Great service and happy dogs!
I’ve been feeding Inukshuk for over a year now to all of the dogs I train in my kennel. I’ve seen obvious improvement in coat and waste. They all love the taste and thrive on it better than any other feed I’ve tried. On average I have anywhere from 20-35 dogs in my kennels and other than those that require a special feed, all of them eat Inukshuk. I’m sold on it and I recommend it to all of my clients. For the record, I am not affiliated with the company in any capacity.
I am sold on this food! Feeding it to my police dog and my pet dogs. Have noticed so many benefits. We are two and a half months in and we will not be feeding anything else.
Since we started this food our dogs have had no ear infections. They are eating a smaller amount of food and their stools have been firm. We tested it on our house dogs first and now we are going to be ordering it for our kennel.
I took the leap and I’m glad I did. I had been feeding Purina Sport 30/20 to my Belgian Malinois since he was 8 weeks old, as recommended by his breeder. I switched him at about 11.5 months old, and within a few days I could tell a HUGE difference in both his mental and physical stamina. Dog Food Advisor rates this as an average food, but I take that with a grain of salt because they rate Blue Buffalo as one of the highest quality foods, even though vets won’t recommend it because dogs used to have seizures on it. It’s been about 3 weeks, and I am seeing first hand that my boy is doing extremely well on this just like the other reviews. Better stamina, more muscle, and an improved coat. For reference, he is 24” tall (and still growing), 50 lbs. He is eating 1/2 cup twice per day with 4oz raw food.
I have very Hungary 6 week old pups and they love it. Got 30/25 to up protein for growth grew and inch in one week. Bright minds, stupendous energy. Just watch
