Wanted to love this
Have had this for over a month now, have tried it in different places where the cats walk to get in and out of the litter box. They were going around it at first, then I placed it where they "had" to walk on it. The picture shows it at the doorway with another bath mat on the outside of the door. Double duty. My review is that it smells. It is the material they used to manufacture it, and the smell just won't go away. Granted, that I am sensitive to smells, but my cats are also. Then there is the tracking. The mat doesn't help at all. There are some pieces of litter that do get stopped by the mat, but its no better than not using a mat. Actually, a rug works the same and its easier to shake out a rug than this mat. I am disappointed, did want it to work but I am continuing to sweep up the litter from all over the house. We use Scoop Away, unscented, clumping cat litter.

This is great! I have an extra large litter box that was for an extra large cat but everyone likes to use it. My kitty who used the box for his solids but used pee pads on the floor is gone now so I no longer have the pads down as litter mat. I got this one - it’s huge so be sure to measure! It’s great! I can pick it up and shake it outside. No more litter tracking. Extra benefit - my plastic licker who would go to the pee pads to lick the plastic backing leaves this plastic mat alone.

Unfortunately for my cat litter application, the litter gets all over this rug and I can even shake it off so I would like to return it.
