Instructions

Maintenance

  • Clean the walls with a soft cloth and diluted cleaning solution.

  • Do not clean with powders, thinners, benzine solutions or cresol solution.

  • Clean the panels with a damp cloth.

  • Clean the cage once a month.

Assembly

  1. Assemble the side panels and set onto the base. Make sure the panels are right side up by checking the illustrations of the parts list. Make sure that the horizontal wire is on the outside of the product.

Locking the latch: Hook latch onto vertical wire and press down.

Connecting the panels: Set panels onto base. Place the panels onto the rib on the base. Attach connector onto one panel. Press down on the connector.

Removing the connectors: Match up cover to hole and twist (2 locations).

  1. Position the panels and spread floor covering. The side with the small notch is the "back". Lay at least 2 inches of floor covering in the base.

  2. Assemble the treadmill, water bottle, and house.

Attaching the treadmill: Place treadmill on stand. Twist notch. Treadmill can also be put between panel wires. Twist the notch to lock in to fence.

Installing the water bottle: Put the bottle hook into the side panel. Fill bottle and secure with spigot. Attach the bottle to the bottle hook. Do not fill bottle 100% full. If the bottle is completely full, this creates a vacuum, not allowing water out; leave some room in bottle. Be sure to change water daily.

  1. Attach the desk and ladder and finish by attaching the roof. Place the food tray on the deck, and finish by attaching the roof. Press down until you hear the "click".

Attaching the treadmill: Line up where to hang the deck. Left hook goes over the wire. Right hook goes beneath. Side hooks go over the wire.

Installing the ladder: Install from above the deck until you hear a "click".

My newly adopted adult mouse is enjoying this cage. It would be nice if it was a little bigger but for the price & some of the other benefits I do feel it's a pretty decent habitat. Pros: bar spacing is small, bars are vertical versus horizontal (foot won't get stuck), is secure once wire bar clips are tightened with needle nose pliers, has a decent size top door entry, clips securing the wire cage sides to the solid plastic bottom are on the outside of the cage as to where the rodent cannot chew it. Cons: is on the small side, likely not big enough for anything bigger than a mouse, no tubes, I had to keep playing with the ledge to keep it securely level but once you get it & you know how My newly adopted adult mouse is enjoying this cage. • Too small please do not buy

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

Hamsters need atleast 450 square inches of space each. And Syrians need at least a 10 inch wheel. This cage is also way too crowded and the tubes are too small for a Syrian to fit in it. This isn’t taking care of animals and you shouldn’t have animals if you don’t want to take care of them.

  • It’s a great home for a little mouse

    By on

I got this for my baby male mouse and he completely loves it. He has a chance to climb up to the second story to get his food and water and an entire lower floor which prevents him from pushing out bedding. The wheel is nice and big. He runs in it nonstop. One downside of it though is because you can’t hang it up, so it makes the loudest noises which keeps everyone up at night. Other than that, the home is great fit and let him roam around.

  • DON'T BUY THIS CAGE

    By on

Do not buy this cage for any animal. The cage is not big enough. If you are looking for a hamster cage just get a fish tank. Same thing for guinea pigs, and hedgehogs you can find much bigger cages for those animals like c and c cages, and midwest cages.
