IRIS 8-Panel Plastic Exercise Dog Playpen

I really would have loved to give 5 stars as I so like the panels on this play pen. The design is a super plus, if I want to removed just one panel or two I can. Very versatile so they did an amazing job with that. HOWEVER, first, the screws that you put the door plates on with are near impossible. I had to go through all of my screw drives before I could find one that would work. Very frustrating. Next a serious flaw is the door lock/latches!!!!!!!!!!! My pup has already gotten out simply by wiggling her little bum against the door. We have an adult dog that isn't too thrilled with her so it is imperative she stays in that pen. The door latches are super loose, not much movement allows them to bounce up. There is a little screw that you can tighten to make them firmer but seriously, they are horribly tiny and a big pain to use. I would love to give this 5 stars, however, our 14 lb lab jumps up and manages to distort it from a rectangle to a triangle with just his weight. He literally can move it across the floor by continually jumping into the area where the panels meet. If there was a way of stabilizing the sides of the panels together I would have given it 5 stars! I really wanted it to work.

We bought this as a playpen for my puppy but it often ended up being used as a gate to keep her off of places we didn't want her to be like couches or away from things like house plants that she would eat given the opportunity. I will say, my friend used it in place of a crate for her two puppies when they were young and they loved it, the high walls made it impossible to escape and it was a bit larger than the average crate so the two puppies could stay together.

Was easy to put together, looks better than the black wire gates. It is not super strong, but does it's job in keeping the Dane puppy where she should be (even though she could jump it if she were smarter). I used it to make 'Z' barriers for doorways.

You can do it in a couple seconds. This second version put in a tiny door yet they make the consumer attach the hardware? At that, the instructions are printed on a single sheet of paper with mis-labeled, enumerated hardware on one side and instructions on the back side. Why are two sheets of paper that difficult to include or better just putting it all on the same side so you are not flipping the instructions back and forth? We've an open concept house, so purchased this for a pug puppy. Easy, sturdy setup, has rubber tips to protect floors. Side panels are moveable so you can configure it to fit your space. A good playpen for leaving puppy when you don't just want to crate.

My first playpen arrived without parts, contacted customer service and a new playpen arrived the next day, easy to assemble , lots of room for bed toys, food dishes and pee pad if needed

This is a great product. You are able to make it any size you need. The only thing I wish I would have done was get a playpen that was not as tall in height. I’m short so it’s a little difficult to reach over, but that’s my fault. Product is perfect other than that.

Does the job perfectly. High enough to keep lab pup from jumping over. Plenty sturdy for small dogs/puppies. Large dogs could knock it down or jump over. Easy assembly and great that you can add and subtract sections to fit your room. Pen can also be re-shaped to fit space. Door is simple but works well. Could have been a bit larger to allow occasional human entry. Overall very happy with this.

We bought this for our 8 wk GSP and it’s perfect. He does jump on the sides and it moves a little but doesn’t fall or collapse. The little door is nice and I’m able to step over the sides (barely) at 5’7”. It’s so easy to move around and change the shape. LOVE IT
