Because I use the newspaper wrappers as litter bags, I was looking for a scoop that would be narrow enough to get the litter into the bag without spilling all over the outside. I had read a review that said the scoop needed to be wider and longer -- well that depends on what you're using it for. My only complaint is that I wish it were a little sturdier.
Perfect for pine litter
on Sep 21, 2018
Yes, the scoop is very small and I wouldn't recommend using it for clumping litter. But it works very well for what I use it for, which is scooping solids out of my pine litter. The slots are big enough for pellets to fall through, but not the waste.
Works for Breeze pellet litter boxes
on Sep 3, 2018
This scoop works with the Breeze litter boxes that uses the pellets and pads. The scoop that came with the box broke and, with the help of a great customer service rep at Chewy, I found this as a replacement. Breeze does not appear to sell the scoop separately.

This could be the ideal scoop for pellet litter IF it were 1"-2" wider and the handle was maybe 4" longer. The holes are wide enough to sift unused litter, which is why I gave it three stars. But I have to agree with some of the other reviews, this scoop is quite small and does seem like a toy. In fact, it's slightly taller that an 16oz bottle of water.
I also purchased the Lucky Champ ABS Cat Litter Scoop. That is the perfect sized scoop. If you can take the handle off the Lucky Champ and put it on this IRIS scoop, it would be purrfect :)
Lightweight, easy to store
on Apr 19, 2018
I like this scoop because it's lightweight and small enough to tuck behind the litter box. It also has a hole in the handle so you can hang it. My only issue is that the slats are so big, the smaller chunks slip through and you have to use the front-corner edge of the scoop to get the smaller pieces of excrement. Kind of annoying. That said, I liked it so much I bought 3 more.
Showed have listened to others

Just got this scoop, it's like a TOY. I have small hands and have a hard time grabbing the little handle, especially with the hook in the way. And if you have anything more than a tiny kitten, you'll spend all day getting the litter scooped, and practically have to have your hand in it because the thing is so tiny. Cheesy, bendy plastic, too. Someone else needs to come up with a good heavy duty scoop with holes large enough for pellets, which is the only thing this scoop has going for it. I would happily pay more for something a lot better.
Basically a kid's toy

The size of the slots in the scoop work great for Okocat litter but the size of the scoop basically reminded me of something a toddler would have in a sand box. This scoop is just too small. It takes forever to get the soiled litter out of the litter box. They could have made this bigger.
Sturdy little litter scooper
on Jun 6, 2018
I recently bought 2 small Booda litter boxes and 2 large ones. I also use wood pellets in the Tidy cat breeze litter box and the scoop wad cracked. I bought 2 scoops due to the low price and it works great for the small Booda boxes. Plan to order 2 more! Bigger scoop doesn't mean it works better. Clumps tend to break up when I use my larger scoops.

You get what you pay for. Ordered one and it was broken when I opened the box.
Scooper for pellet litter
on Jun 13, 2018
Using okocat long hair wood pellets. Scoops well. Nice clip to hang on side of box. I would prefer a larger size as it takes two scooping to get the urine ball. The wide openings are close to the needed size. Maybe a bit too big when catching smaller clumps.
