  • Great concept

    By on

My pup chewed the training pads right out of this every time I tried it. I ended up buying the reusable washable pads and fold one up and lay it on this so at least I get to use it for something. Might try it with the older dogs during hurricane season when they refuse to go outside in the rain.

  • Good but faulty

    By on

Love that it can be paired with its own puppy pad for maximum use from it and I love how it's got the little prong things to keep them from digging at it and pulling it out but the one I ordered doesn't lay flat on my floor. Kind of pops up a bit but the dogs still use it

  • My Shih Tzu chewed up two of these.

    By on

They seemed like an excellent idea....but my clever little Shih Tzu puppy chewed both of the trays purchased. He also ended up chewing up the the pads I bought. Now he is peeing on my tile floor, in his Iris Playpen (and that is a gem!!!)

  • Many pad holders later, this product is by far the best.

    By on

I've used these holders for years now with our small breed litters and they work the best of all the products I have tried. The rim is important as it defines the pad for the puppy. They circle and sniff and do their stuff. The little feet which were added in later years to the product keep it largely off the floor. I use them on a bare hardwood floors. Many brands of plastic holders sit directly on the floor and an occasional miss causes them to wick along the edge and damage the floor. I hardly ever have that problem anymore. They also fit many size pads if you fold them as necessary. The little nubs under the plastic grab the pads well and reduce the puppies urge to pull them up I've used these holders for years now with our small breed litters and they work the best of all the products I have tried. The only downside I find is that the puppies love to chew on the latches when they get old enough and their teeth big enough and eventually they won't lock down well anymore.... a small consequence I can live with. … more

  • Yes, I would buy this product again

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I like the holders because it stays in place and puppies can't move them around. They do still, however, find a way to chew the middle of the pads, but the holders are good!

  • Finally - a safety tray for wet wee wee pads

    By on

I have always hoped there would be a better way than putting newspapers or cardboard or plastic sheeting under wee pads - those little devils always pee too close to the edge but this pad holder/tray solves the problem. Use the Iris pads but be sure to put the pale blue side up - white is the bottom.
