Instructions

Maintenance

  • Clean the walls with a soft cloth and diluted cleaning solution.

  • Do not clean with powders, thinners, benzine solutions or cresol solution.

  • Clean the panels with a damp cloth.

  • Clean the cage once a month.

Assembly

  1. Build the fence and panels and set them in to the main body.

  2. Place the assembled sides onto the bottom tray and install the wallpaper.

  3. Install the treadmill, water bottle, and food tray.

Installing the treadmill: insert axis into back panel and rotate axis 90 degrees.

Installing the water bottle: Place in-between the wire at height your hamster can access. If completely full, this creates a vacuum, not allowing water out. Leave some room in the bottle.

Installing the food tray: Hook onto wire.

  1. Position the house and roof. Once the roof is in place, press down on both sides until you hear a "click". Press the wallpaper into the groove in the roof.

    Don't Buy This !!

    By on

Even the smallest of hamsters should have 450 sq inches of floor space. Using this cage as anything more than a travel cage is inhumane. It's important to realize that a hamster's cage is their entire world. In the wild, they have miles of space that they utilize; this cage doesn't even come close to that. I would opt for something better, such as a 40 gallon breeder aquarium or a similarly-sized small animal cage.

    Temp Cleaning Cage

    By on

I use this cage for cleaning, my hamster has a giant 3 story cage that can sometimes take a long time to clean, and since they can only be in an exercise ball for an hour max, I use this for food water and exercise access for my hamster while cleaning his cage. Chewy also has hamster play pens that I recommend as well. Five star review for sure.

    Wayyy to small

    By on Top 500 Contributor

Hamsters need at least 450 square inches of space and mice need at least 2 square feet of space. Please do not buy this, if you want to own a pet research it first and buy it all the necessary requirements. Animals are not toys, you can’t just imprison them in this and expect them to be happy and taken care of. Also this cage is made out of cheep plastic so your wasting your money too.

    Too small!!

    By on

Way too small for any animal! And too shallow, Hamsters need one area of bedding that's at least 5 inches deep. The wheel in the cage is far too small too. Please stop selling cages like this! I wouldn't even put a hamster in this for cage cleaning.

    Way Too Small

    By on

Guys please, this is even too small for a mouse, the poor little things would feel trapped in it. Any small animal needs a good amount of space to run around

    Do Not Buy!

    By on

Chewy, please do your customers a favor and stop selling this cage. This is too tiny for any small creature. If you want a cheap, great house for your mouse, hamster, etc. search for "bin cage" on the internet and make your own. Your animal will be much happier.

    Don't waste your money!

    By on

I do not recommend this cage. Hamsters of all species need a minimum of 450 square inches of unbroken floor space. I highly recommend a bin cage or 40 gallon breeder aquarium as an alternative.

Way too small! It's recommend your hamster have at least 450 square inches of unbroken floor space. They also need a wheel they can run on with a straight back. Please get proper housing.
