IRIS Nylon Mesh Security Roof for 4-Panel Plastic Dog Playpen

I bought this item for a different Iris playpen and it works great. Keeps the cat from jumping in and bothering the puppy when she wants to rest. Cat weighs 15 pounds and likes to lay on the mesh cover and it supports him. (I don’t let him stay on it since it bothers the puppy), Good price too.

I first bought this playpen for my 5 pound Lhasa pup, only to have her climb over the top. I came back to Chewy & ordered the top. SUCCESS! I can now leave her in it to run errands (of course the playpen is in my kitchen, I would never leave her in it unsupervised outside.) I originally bought this for when we camp.

This top does NOT fit all Iris 4 panel playpens. Despite that it looks as though it will go over the top of the one I have which doesn’t have spaces at the top, it isn’t big enough. If you have no holes at the very top, it will NOT fit. Waiting to hear back from Chewy for return.

Too easy for my pup to untie the Velcro straps. The straps are made of material that she can pull apart causing it to get struck in by

Please note the picture displaying the cover. It is for a different IRIS playpen than what I bought. The white plastic pen has a solid rounded top with no way to tie the cover as displayed. In order to use it for my playpen, I had to cut rope ties, lace it through the closed velcro and tie it around the outer corners. It works but not as intended. The cover is still a good, solid mesh cover though. Just buy it for the right product!!!

I bought this for my Maltese. He doesn’t like being in it and drags it around house too easily.

I love all of Chewy's products and fast service but am not fond of this. I have a 13 week old Maltese who is a houdini and I desperately needed this. It's not the easiest to put on and literally within the first few minutes he was trying to get the velcro apart and he succeeded, after many more times of attaching and him pulling it apart I decided it wasn't for us. If you have an older dog it may be fine but not for an active puppy. I actually bought one for another dog years ago when I bought the pen but didn't use it and I couldn't find it thus why I ordered another one.

It’s terrible to put on and it doesn’t stay on. It’s crap I’d give it 0 stars if I could!

It only took 5 minutes for our 8 week old puppy to climb out of his exercise pen. now with the mesh cover he hasn't figured an escape plan as of yet,

Both my dog and cat were able to escape with this on. not quite sure how but I know they figured out how to undo the velcro closures as well.
