We're a multiple-cat household, and most of them are special needs in some way. We were really having issues with our newest, formerly feral kitten with cerebellar hypoplasia, whose back legs are iffy; she stands up to pee and whizzed over the edges of the boxes we have.
I found this hightop box looking around CHEWY--it gives her a spacious box with a channeled, removable pee-shield, with a decent "doorway" space for her to get in without tipping over. The other cats also love the box. We loved the original box so much we bought two more to replace the others we'd been using. We will be replacing the boxes on the second floor soon.
They work, they aren't super expensive, and they are wellmade and easy to clean. I can't recommend them loud enough. <3… more
Back to buy another

This cat box has been good for us, time to purchase a replacement for the one we bought in 2015. I also want a second one for the other end of the house since my cat won't jump the baby gate.
My only complaints are the holes in the scoop are too large, I purchased a metal scoop. Also, when my daughter scoops the cat box she forgets the front corners. I wish it went straight across in the front.
The size has been good for our cat who weighs close to 12 lbs. It also fits perfectly in a small closet with a the cathole door.
Overall the price is good. I like that it has the higher sides which prevents litter from being kicked out.

This box is strong enough to be able to be moved with almost a full 25lb box of litter in it without breaking or bending. Used by two cats we clean it a couple of times a day. The shield works extremely well keeping in litter. I don't use the supplied scoop since we purchased a separate one but kept it as a back up. Chewy shipped the box same day we ordered it and we received it on the second day! The only wish I have is that there would be more color options available.
Whimpy Litter Box

The litter box is not very durable or sturdy as compared to other litter boxes. The shield doesn’t snap down securely on one side & not at all on the other. If a cat does aim for the shield, some of the urine leaks underneath the shield to the outside of the box, almost defeating the purpose for high sides. The box is also harder to scoop & clean. I use a good quality of litter; yet, in this box, the soiled litter sticks to the surfaces, making it harder to scoop out all the soiled litter. It also retains the odor, unlike another brand I normally purchase.

I have special requirements for a litter box because the space where it goes is ONLY 15 1/2 inches wide total. so many DO NOT FIT! This one fits perfectly with the lid on! It is true as I and others have said that the lid will let liquid run down if you have a splasher but I do not. This box is very well made, smooth on the inside , sturdy feeling plastic and very nice looking. I am ordering 2 more 1 in each color. Hope once we are actually using them for more than a few days ( it just arrived 2 days ago) that we are as happy as we are now. Will update in a month or 2.
Back for another!

I love the one I bought so much, when we got Cat #2, I'm coming back for a second one. It keeps cat litter from being kicked outside the box, and it limits the litter from being tracked outside by the cat to only one side. Except my kitten sometimes jumps the sides, but not always.
Highly recommended for small spaces.

Our cats love this litter box. One of cats has shorter legs and can easily get into the box. Fits in a small space in our laundry room. Sides keep litter in the box.
Waste of money

We have a geriatric male cat that no longer squats to urinate, so he started urinating over the edge of his old box. We bought this to contain the urine, but because of the design, if he pees above the attachment line, all the urine still leaks out of the box. Infuriating
Great for small spaces

This is the perfect litter box for small spaces and small cats. My newest addition wouldn't use a top entry box so I was searching for an alternative. We love it! She's a tiny cat that only weighs 4-5lbs, and it's gives her plenty of space to maneuver and dig. The high sides keep her pee in. She does kick some litter out, but it's easily swept up and doesn't bother me.
It won't be a good fit for large cats. My big boy (22+lbs) couldn't use it even though he tried several times.
Tall sided litter box

The sides are tall enough for even a messy cat. The little scoop is lightweight but having it hook to the box is nice.
