My daughter's older cat seemed to miss the box a lot. I put card board underneath with plastic so the urine wouldn't penetrate the carpet. I decided to shop around for options. I found this box with the higher sides, with easy access for a aging cat. So far this has been working perfectly. I haven't seen any urine outside the box. The scoop is a added plus having it right on hand. I highly recommend this product.
Designer of this box is not a cat owner

The litter box is very small and bottom is very shallow. My mistake for not paying better attention to dimensions. Concept is great, but it is not practical. Cats tend to pee against the back or side to mark. It creates a big mess and almost goes over the top. The base also has lots of recesses and areas that are difficult to clean. In other words, bottom is not flat.
I consider this one of the worst designs on which I spent money. I would NOT recommend unless you have a kitten. Not for adult cats.
Terrible Litter Box
on Apr 25, 2019
Bought this box for the high walls as our senior cats lift up and get urine outside the box. First, its very small and really only works for a small kitten. Second, there is a raised middle on the bottom of the box, which makes it hard to actually scoop the clumps out. Third, the snap on top shield barely stays on. Its snaps in place but if you move the box it comes apart. Fourth, the urine gets in the crack between the box and the top wall. Fifth, the scoop has wide holes and the litter just falls thru it. Just a mess. Don't waste your money!

Ok product. I ordered two and both gave me a hard to time to snap top and bottom into place. I use drawstring liners for their litter, but still gave me trouble without the liners when trying to snap into place. Because of that, my cat still manage to knock it out of the way. I think if you have a smaller cat, this will be ok.
The price is great but the quality of this is not

There is a gap between the top of the litter box and the shield which does not stop any male cat from peeing out of the litter box. This was the main reason I had for purchasing this litter box in the first place. Great idea but the quality of this litter box falls short, how about improving the quality of the fit between the litter box and the shield. Also I tried to shake water out off the shield after rinsing it off and it broke immediately.
Great box, no complaints

I’m really not sure where these others are getting their compliments from unless they’ve recently updated the box or they just don’t know how to use it. The top part snaps on perfect and I have zero problem scoping out litter. I will say it’s definitely for a smaller cat a big one probably wouldn’t fit well. There’s also no crack in mine as others have complained
Good Transitional Box
on May 9, 2019
For my cats life she has used the completely uncovered liter box but due to recent circumstances we needed a way to transition her to a fully closed box (which this is not). Since this box has everything except a roof and a door, it was a great way to get her used to going all the way to a fully covered box.
Not all boxes are made the same

I found that not all Litter boxes are created equal. The problem for me is that the bottom of box is not flat across. It has an indented step in the mold that travels the perimeter of the box. scooping out and using the scooper that comes along ( which hangs nicely on the side) catches this indented step. Also scraping out wet litter from this indent is a drag.

I replaced 1 of 2 old, standard litterboxes with a high sided type months ago. Where the 2nd box sits was too small for the new litterbox. My Fuzzlings got used to using the high-sided box & weren't as careful in the old low box, so there started being puddles on the floor. I saw this smaller version, ordered & it's a perfect fit. No more puddles yay!

I love the concept but the box is too small. I have to clean this box 4 times a day. And my cat found a way to cover her poop in the front with her hind legs. When I went to check the box it looked like someone had taken a couple of huge scoops and dumped it right in front of the box. I was laughing so hard it was funny. So I just cleaned it up. Kept the old box and might change back not sure..... thanks.
