Horrible design

The box itself is sturdy and has held up over the years but it is my least favorite box. The fact that the high sides detach mean that when my spray pee-er hits the walls, it can leak down and out of the cracks where it meets the actual box. Also idk why, but they’ve designed it to have these little spots at the corners of the front of the box that extend out a bit. I have two cats that prefer to pee at the front and I absolutely cannot get wet litter out of those indentations when I scoop. It’s disgusting and drives me crazy. If you’re using a non-clumping litter it isn’t a problem, but if you’re not, don’t buy the box. It’s not worth the headache.

It's a cat box

I really like this box. It's compact but roomy enough for the cat. My cat is male. (He looks so much like the cat in this ad, It's astonishing. I didn't see him before.) His single bad habit is standing up and spraying when he pees. I have needed to put pee pads up on the wall to catch it. But this open top, allows him to stand up and and pee without it hitting the wall. This makes me incredibly happy. I still have a pile of pee pads just in case his aim gets better. But for the moment, it allows him open headroom space and saves the wall. Also, it was delivered almost immediately and that made me really happy. Thank you very much.

My Ellie was a little apprehensive at first but it didn't last long. This litterbox keeps litter from accumulating at the back and sides of the litter box, which was driving me crazy! BUT Ellie now kicks litter out of the front. So problem was reduced. I really like the litter box and it does what it should, we just found a way to get all those painful pebbles out.

Smaller than appears in the picture

The product is much smaller than it looks. I ordered it because I thought it was going to be a large box. The top piece doesn't stay on, the cats sometimes knock it off while inside. Plus it kinda tapers at the top so it gives a sense of less space too. The scooper is flimsy so we don't even use it. Other than that it serves it's purpose. I do like the height of the box because one of my cats likes to see how far he can kick the litter when he's covering his business. So it does help that.

Poor design

I am a multi cat home- also a veterinarian. I have 10 litter-boxes and scoop several times a day. The bottom of this box has an approximately 1 inch groove around the entire border so when the pets urinate, the wet litter sinks to this groove and your scooper doesn’t get it- it should be a completely flat surface. Whoever designed it surely hasn’t ever scooped boxes!

Great Litterbox!

I have 3 cats and 4 of these litterboxes. I think they’re great! All of my cats use them without issue. One recent review said the top comes off, but I have not had that issue with any of mine. The top literally snaps into place, so maybe that person didn’t realize? I love the attachable scoops too. I recommend!!!

This litter box may be affordable, but the design is horrible. The grooves at the bottom of pan make it so difficult to scoop. The litter gets stuck in the grooves and corners, making for a frustrating cleaning. Takes extra long time to scoop litter box. Bottom of box should be smooth for easier scooping. Lid doesn't snap easily or correctly, nor does it stay snapped. Definitely not a good litter box for me

Seems to be a good box but..

Unfortunately I’m unable to use it right now because they shipped me the box an scooper, but didn’t even send the scatter shield that comes with it. I would say this is more of an associate review issue rather than the product itself because again the box seems like it would be good, but my cat loves to dig like it’s a whole surprise in there so litter goes everywhere and so using it without the shield would be like the box she has now. I’ve tried the hooded ones an she does not like those at all. That was the whole reason why I ordered this one!!

Great concept

I was adding a cat so needed to add a litterbox anf this has turned out to be a great choice. I love the clipon high side and that it comes with a scoop that can hang on the side. At first I thought Opal might find the scoop inside the box a turnoff but she doesn't seem to notice it. Great concept.

Doesn't solve the splatter problem

Wanted a taller or covered litter box because my cat shovels the litter out. This box is tall without a complete enclosure, so I thought it would work well without confining her. But she still shovels the litter out the front. Also, it is an inch or two less-long than her old box--She steps inside and urinates immediately and the urine shoots backwards, through the opening and/or between the 2 pieces of the box. Fortunately, I keep the box in a spare bathtub or it would be a terrible mess to clean up from the floor. The box has a very small clip/tab on each long side to secure the top to the bottom; unfortunately, only one of them works, so the top and bottom are not actually secured, but will probably stay in place anyway.
