dysfunctional lid led to destruction and stench

The lid on this box doesn't fit right. Even once you get it to sit stably on top of the box, it clicks loudly and shivers and trembles whenever your cat tries to jump on top of it / with each gentle little footstep across it. My cat tried and tried to get over her fear of this lid, holding her waste in, until she exploded with it (both #1 and #2) all over a couch while we were staying for two weeks at a friend's home. This cat has used every possible kind of litterbox, including other top entry boxes, and never ever done her business outside a box in eight years. We would have been better off using a much cheaper travel box.

Seems really good

So far it's working fine. I was worried it would tip over, but it hasn't. I can see that at least one cat is using it. I got it because one cat pees over the edge of the box. I can't tell if that cat has tried it yet, but I'm considering buying another one so this style will be the only choice they have. I'm hoping it will keep things a lot cleaner.

No more mess

Folks if your cats are messy and the miss their mark this is the answer. I used to clean everyday after my Cats, this solved my issue. They do completely inside. I bought one for each of my cats. Folks don’t think about anymore, This will solve your messy cats problems. Absolutely recommend this particular cat box.

Not Sturdy!

I would not recommend this product at all, the top is not sturdy and falls through at least on one corner when my cat jumps on it to get in, and she’s only 12 pounds. Disappointing as I bought it to replace the other tall covered box I’ve had for years this is going in the trash!
