So you can just put this in the tub

This device works by drawing water from virtually any tub, bucket, basin or sink. It turns a pool of water into a gentle shower-like stream on demand.
I don't know how to imagine how much pressure is based on PSI. Does it have enough that I can rinse my dog from below with the head facing up?

This item does have another pressure setting to shoot the water up to rinse the dog from below.
Is it safe to have the battery immersed in water? I'm surprised that the pump with the battery is put directly into water. Is there a risk of electric shock with this product?

The Ivation Handheld Portable Dog, Cat & Horse Shower features a waterproof battery and is safe when completely submerged in water.
Is it possible to substitute the 6.5 foot hose with a longer hose? I have a horse so am thinking the hose may need to be longer if the bucket of water is sitting on the ground. Sounds like a great product! Thank you.

Perfect for my dog

I have a very large Great Dane who does not like water, and it's impossible to get him near a shower or tub. I thought with this little number, I could bring the shower to him. It worked! I used a 5-gallon bucket filled with warm water; the shower's water flow is gentle and the unit is not noisy, which are good things for me because otherwise the dog would hate it. He actually seemed to like this experience. The 5 gallons of water was enough to give him a quick rinse, shampoo, and rinse again. As others said, an on-off switch on the handle would be nice, but I just left the running shower head in the bucket while I was shampooing him. I can't speak to the longevity of this product, but after one use, I'm happy I bought it.

Everything about the battery shower is as advertised. Very weird shipping label but arrived very fast, I love having it! Thank you Ivation.

Great while it lasts

Had 2. Both were great while they worked. Good flow, good pressure, multiple baths off 1 charge. Both died because the on/off switch failed. It's not like you use the switch 20 times with each bath. Switch should be good for 1000 uses, but fails around 100. Chewy should push for better quality switch.

Its decent, could have been cheaper.

I just got it in the mail today. Super easy to put together and instructions were clear. Wish it was just a tad bit more powerful for the price in which I paid for it. I'm def gonna use it. Runs through water pretty fast so either recycle the water or get a huge bin. I spent 40 bucks on it, It seems more like its worth 18.99 instead. I would recommend to find a better quality product.

omg buy it

This is a game changer!!! Wayyy better then washing with a cup!!!! Note I have a shower stall and washing two big pits in there doesn’t work. But this has great pressure I was actually surprised!! And it lasted pretty long.

Nifty product!

I don't have a good place to comfortably bathe my dogs. Now I'm able to bathe them outside with a bucket of warm water. It doesn't have much pressure but my pups have short hair. Wouldn't work on thick coats.

Great for dog baths!

This thing worked better than I expected. I don’t really know what I expected, but it was very quiet which is a huge plus and decent water pressure. My dog is a pittie, so she’s got short hair and I still had to scrub her pretty good to make sure her undercoat got wet and also to be sure she was thoroughly rinsed since it’s not as high pressure as a shower head or anything like that, but still much easier than other things I’ve tried. Definitely a great purchase!

excellent shower!

I love this thing! Super portable, easy to charge, and the water pressure is surprisingly strong. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it stopped working all of a sudden and I’m not sure why. Used a handful of times without any issues and kept it clean, charged and in its original packaging. I highly recommend this product!

works great

This worked great for washing my dog. Put the pump in a 5 gallon bucket of warm water and gave her a great shower. Only thing that would be nice is an on/off on the wand.

Better than I expected!

It's easy to use and very convenient. I put a bucket in the bathtub, fill up the bucket with water, and submerge the motor of the portable shower in the bucket. I put the cat in the dry bathtub beside the bucket of water and spray from her neck down. It gets all the shampoo entirely off her, and it's quicker. Dipping a cup in standing bath water made it difficult and tiresome to get all the shampoo out of her long Persian fur. I've used it twice so far.
