Your furry friend must have a current heartworm test result on file with your veterinarian in order to be prescribed heartworm medication. Please visit your veterinarian to have this test performed annually to protect your four-legged friend. Help protect your pet from pesky pests with Iverhart Max Soft Chews. These soft chews are formulated to help prevent heartworm disease and can also help treat and control the other three most common worms—roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms. This broad-spectrum medication helps to provide safe and effective year-round protection when given monthly and is intended for dogs 8 weeks or older weighing 25.1 to 50 pounds. To top it all off, it has a drool-worthy bacon flavor that your dog will love.

Used to prevent heartworm disease by eliminating the tissue stage of heartworm larvae for a month (30 days) after infection and for the treatment and control of roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms.

    Our dog won't eat them!

    By on

These large chewable cubes must taste terrible as the dog always spits them out. The smell is a coppery beef which our spaniel identifies even when hidden in her favorite foods. Please bring back the tablet form so we can disguise it with a small amount of cream cheese and ham.

    my two aussies do fine

Does exactly what it’s supposed to. For those that don’t eat I just break it in half, slather peanut butter on it and my dog has no issue taking it. Or hide it in cream cheese.

    Not for every breed

    By on

I only gave 3 stars because this is one of the specific medications that my pup has a health risk identified by her DNA match. Now I have to find another heart worm med.

    My dog loves it!

    By on

This is the easier way to get my girl to take her medication. She's almost a year old and she loves soft chews. I just break them in half and give it to her like it's a treat. We go fishing and camping on our days off, and she's outside with us. This med seems to be working because she bug free. Even the flies and mosquitoes leave her alone. I'm quite happy with the product.

    Won't eat them

    By on

What a mess. We have four dogs, and previously they were on this product but not in the chewy version. 3 of our 4 wouldn't eat the previous chewable ones, so I thought the chewy version might be different. I started with the least picky of our dogs, which I could sometimes get to eat the chewables. Not! And they're a lot bigger. I tried cutting it into smaller sizes and disguising it - nope. So, I ground it up and mixed it in with wet food - NOPE! Now I have three unopened boxes if these darn things, as I'm certainly NOT going to even try them on the pickier pups!
