so tiny, what is the point?

    By on

No. Threw this out after one usage. Not stead and not big enough. What is the point of this?

Jackson Galaxy Eclipse Stainless Steel Bowl

    By on

For those with a 'picky eater' cat that doesn't like to get their whiskers in their food, this is the answer. It holds 10 oz of wet cat food at a appropriate level for kitty to eat. Its called a 'whisker relief' food bowl and stands about 1-1/2 inch's high on sturdy rubber legs.

    Way Too Small

    By on

This dish is way too small for practical use. It will only hold about 2.5 oz of food, and, while eating, the cats just push the food off of it. I wound up taking it to the bathroom and using it as a hand/bar soap dish. I would not recommend this food dish to anyone. It isn't exactly made of the best stainless steel either, and it is rather light in weight. I'm sorry I ordered it.

    glad this exists

    By on

My cats eat pate style wet food and a lot can go to waste in the sides of traditional pet food bowls - they eat it all off of this modern looking dish - a little gets pushed off but no sweat I’m just glad so much more gets into their stomaches and I do appreciate the whisker friendliness

    has helped tremendously

    By on

This dish helped in transitioning our cat from free grazing to scheduled feedings. The open design of this dish is perfect for his Honest Kitchen food. He is able to look around as he eats since he doesn't have his head tucked in the bowl.

    Very Cute Bowl

    By on

This bowl is definitely easier to eat out of and more attractive than a traditional cat food bowl. Only downside is that he end up pushing chunks of food out and onto the floor when he eats out of it. Probably I'll solve this with a placemat, and I also ordered the other bowl from this collection to see if that works out better.

    Doesn't help him.

    By on

Very neat design! My cat shovels food in and vomits a few minutes later. I was hoping this would help slow down his eating. The curve of it still allows him to shovel the food in. I would still use it for my other cats.

    Pretty good

    By on

One of my cats jumped straight up when she saw her reflection in the dish. That was hilarious. But when I put food in it I can see why it is better for their whiskers and chin acne. I was hoping they'd be bigger in size though.

    poor construction

    By on

The rubber coverings around the feet kept retaining water when the item was washed and when I attempted to remove them to get the area dry, the poorly welded on metal feet came right off.
