The catnip-filled Jackson Galaxy Puma Paw Cat Toy is kitty fun just waiting to happen. No cat can resist the allure of catnip, especially when it’s stuffed inside a brightly colored toy. The Puma Paw features nylon cords that are knotted for an erratic bounce that adds excitement to the thrill of the hunt. These durable ball toys will have your cat pouncing and prowling as she tries to capture them.
Erratic bounce to entice interactive play, keeping indoor cats active
Packed with USA-grown catnip for added excitement and engagement
Durable toys can handle intense play
Doubles the fun with two balls
Made with soft nylon yarn cords in purple, green and yellow
These balls invite chasing as they are firm and roll well, and a bit erratically which is enticing, on our hardwood floors. Due to the wrapped cord exterior, they are easily gripped by teeth or claws to be carried about at kitties' desires. The 1-1/2" diameter seems a perfect size for my 11lb kitties. I'll probably be buying these frequently as I suspect they will disappear under something soon! My only suggestion for improvement, or for an additional option, would be a rattle on the inside.
Not interested at all.

Since Smudges is strictly an indoor boy I’m always trying to find ways to make him happy. He does play with some of his toys but he didn’t pay any attention to these at all. Other kitties might find them quite fun but sadly not Smudges.

I have two cats, both Maine Coon mixes, one is 15 and the other is 2, and they both fell in love with these as soon as we started playing with them. Great for cats who like to hit balls and carry items around in their mouths. Colors are cute too!
My little predators
on Mar 11, 2019
My two cats went crazy for these little catnip balls. I just took them out so I don't know how durable they are or if they'll continue to have interest in them. But for now, they are so happy and they're having so much fun. I can see that natural predatory instinct coming out and that makes me happy. I'm sure being a house cat gets pretty boring.
A bit hard, but a fun ball
on Feb 26, 2019
We are fans of almost everything Jackson Galaxy in our house and these balls are no exception. They are a bit harder than most cat toys but fun for the boys to chase and easy for them to pick up in their mouths or with a sharp claw. I haven't tried bouncing them as of yet, but they roll wonderfully on carpet and do not hurt if you happen to step on one in the middle of the night.
Good for cats that enjoy fetch
on Feb 14, 2019
I have one cat that is obsessed with fetching (who needs a dog?) and he is finding these quite engaging. The texture makes them easy to pick up. When playing on his own, he loves to carry them up and knock them down staircases. Interesting and different from anything else he fetches, so they're going over well. They're not soft and are a little heavier than I expected, but they work for my one fetcher.
Hold up to my pica cat
on Jan 21, 2019
1 of our 3 cats has pica - which means no one gets toys because she’ll eat them immediately. We’ve had these for three weeks, all three love playing with them, and the one hasn’t figured out how to eat them yet. She did pull the end out of one (see someone else’s photo) but that was on the first day. It hasn’t unraveled further, and the other is still whole. I wish there were more toys like this (sturdy and tough but not just hard plastic), I would buy them in a heart beat!
Waste of money

Sadly, none of my cats will play with these. They are heavier than other options and just don’t move ver far, especially on carpet.
Lucy not very interested in the Puma Paw balls.

The only ball Lucy seems to to like is one that looked like a pumpkin. Maybe she will get interested some day. They are pretty and made well.
Puma paw cat toy

Cats had fun, not sure there's as much catnip attraction, seemed to have lost interest after a short while, but it is a well made toy.
