Description

Give your dog a toy you can trust with the naturally entertaining and non-toxic Jax and Bones Sidney the Seal Rope Toy. This eco-friendly and chemical-free toy is knotted by hand and colored using only the highest quality, vegetable-based dyes. Since it’s made of all rope, it will naturally fray and unravel—but don’t fret, as the texture acts like doggy dental floss to help keep teeth clean. Plus, it’s 100% biodegradable so you can toss it into the compost pile when he’s had all the fun. It's great for a game of toss and fetch and you can even soak it in water and freeze it for an extra cool toy during the hot summer months, or for teething puppies.

Key Benefits
  • Made from 100% eco-friendly, chemical-free and non-toxic cotton thread using all-natural vegetable dyes, so your dog can play safely.
  • Hand-tied for maximum strength and durability during play, allowing parts to be easily removed when major fraying occurs.
  • Knotted texture acts as doggie dental floss to help clean teeth.
  • 100% machine-washable so it’s easy to keep fresh for your pup.
  • Can be dipped in water and frozen to safely cool down your dog or to help quickly soothe a teething puppy’s sore gums.

Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Cute but couldn't hold up to my chewer

    By on

My lab tore through this within minutes. It is very cute but the rope isn't tied up very tight so she unraveled it quickly and I had to take it away as she started pulling pieces off. Disappointed because its a bit pricey. She has other rope toys that lasted much longer

    My pup loves this toy

My dog is a chewer and makes quick work of most soft toys. She is really enjoying the multiple ropes that come together to make this toy and the challenge of destroying each one! Although she is destroying it, I am pleased with the amount of time it's lasted and her continued interest. I would definitely buy this or something similar again.

    dog loved it

My dog is small but is a big chewer. He often destroys toys quickly and I hate the idea of sending so many dog toys to the landfill. I tried giving him recyclable chew toys but he doesn't seem to like the rubbery texture and prefers fabric toys. Since the description for this toy said it is compostable I thought to give it a try and so far it's a winner! It might not be the most durable (my dog was able to get some edges to start fraying the first day he got it) but no toy is indestructible anyway and I feel better knowing that this toy can eventually go into the compost bin rather than the garbage. Also, even though there is some fraying I just trim the loose ends with scissors and he can keep My dog is small but is a big chewer. I googled tough pet toys for chewing dogs and this came up first. My dog had it chewed open in 10 minutes and had stuffing pulled out shortly thereafter. She loves to play fetch with it and I recommend it for anyone who's dog doesn't eat every toy she gets.
