Read All 6 Critical ReviewsGreat price for a backpack, needs more handles

It's a really great backpack carrier, especially for the price. I feel like it could use a better way to pick it up when you're not using it as a backpack and just need to carry it to the car, or into the vets office, etc. There's one handle on the top, but it really needs two longer ones to be able to transport in that way. … more

Working out well
By Andy on Jan 7, 2021
We use this for our 12 lb chihuahua mix. For reference, I am 5'11", 190 lb, my wife is 5'4", 120 lb. Overall: I feel like I got what I paid for with this carrier. It was priced on the lower end of the Chewy choices. I'm pleased. Our use: We both wear it, sometimes we're together, sometimes alone, but neither of us find it difficult to manage on our own. Our dog is old and not thrilled with cold weather, but we're in Maine, so we bought the pack for winter trail walks. Once he's clearly "done" walking the trail, we put him in with a thin blanket and a disposable hand warmer pack, and he seems very cozy. Even with the added blanket, he fits comfortably in a wrapped sitting/leaning position We use this for our 12 lb chihuahua mix. For reference, I am 5'11", 190 lb, my wife is 5'4", 120 lb. Our dog is old and not thrilled with cold weather, but we're in Maine, so we bought the pack for winter trail walks. Once he's clearly "done" walking the trail, we put him in with a thin blanket and a disposable hand warmer pack, and he seems very cozy. Even with the added blanket, he fits comfortably in a wrapped sitting/leaning position (I take off his little coat and booties so he can move a bit). He's quite content, looking out the mesh windows, swaying with our gait. On the drive home he typically chooses to stay inside, despite unzipped door, with the pack resting upright on back seat; seems really cozy. Basic manufacturing quality: Pretty good - Overall sturdy feel, zippers appropriately sized, seams and stitching are tight, materials seem likely to hold up well. My dog doesn't scratch at the mesh, if he did, over time it might tear, but it seems strong. Design: Pretty good - there are multiple zippered openings to access the compartment, which is proving convenient for loading, unloading, or accessing in use (also allows him to use it passively on the floor as a cozy, secure bed). Rubber feet allow it to stand erect for loading upright on flat ground or a bench. The pockets are small and tight, but hold a poop bag, treats, etc. Negatives: The shoulder strap padding is not substantial, and the hip belt has no pad at all, and fits across my belly not my waist. So comfort-wise, weight isn't transferred smartly, not great for the lower back, but if you snug it up tight, not bad. The strap clasps are not easy to manipulate, and the sternum strap is undersized and located oddly, such that it sits over my very upper sternum. Neither of the straps have enough length for a hefty person. I'm not sure I'd be as happy wearing this in the summer, without my bulky coat on, but it would work. … more

Our cats love it, love the adventure and are so comfortable in the backpack they sleep in it when not going outside.

So cute and my kitty loves!!
By mandy on Dec 18, 2020
I love this little backpack for my kitten! This is great for a more comfortable way to take my sweet boy to the vet. When the weather warms up, I plan on taking him with me on walks around my neighborhood for some fresh air! He’s very comfortable in this backpack and it has a cushion at the bottom!

Great quality!

This carrier backpack is perfect for my cat, she feels so comfortable in it. We leave it out for her as a bed/cave when we're not using it for travel. The quality and colors are great too!

Gift for cat walkers
By Frost on Nov 18, 2020
Bought two as Christmas gifts for catwalkers. These are large and would hold our cat, just one comfortably, but not two (would not recommend for more than one cat at a time). I tried it on and the belts are odd- I have to figure out how to adjust them better so it doesn't pull on the shoulders so much; has a waste belt, and I think that was measured for a child- not enough slack to make it around a medium sized waist- but maybe just need to fiddle with the adjustments more. Didn't want to try it to much as it is meant for a give. I think it is sturdy and will hold up for a little while.

Put ur cat on ur back!
By Steph on Nov 3, 2020
This is exactly what we were looking for. We needed not just a carrier, but a carrier we could sling on our backs and run with in case of emergency; hard kennels just weren't cutting it in those scenarios. - This carrier is sized really well; if the cat is on the bigger side, it will have to sit upright when you have the backpack on, but any other time the carrier can be laid on its side to be perfectly comfortable (for reference, we tested this with our 12lb senior cat). - It keeps its shape really well and does not collapse on the cat. This is both due to the flexible "frame" (idk how else to describe it) and the sturdy but flexible walls. If you put it under the seat in front of you in an This is exactly what we were looking for. The chest strap is more suited to a small person; on a bigger person it might not go all the way across the chest. But the shoulder straps are good. Overall, we're thinking of ordering another! … more

Great when hands are full
By Clux on Oct 11, 2020
I work in a vet clinic so when I bring one of our cats in it used to be a handful. Carrying lunch box water bottle and cat carrier. Now I just put the back pack on and can carry everything else. I also like that this is very ventilated where a other backpack carriers aren't

Awesome carrier!
By ChrisK on Sep 17, 2020
I couldn’t take the flimsy duffle I was using anymore. I read other reviews on this backpack and I am so happy with it. So was our (15 pound) cat! It was sturdy whether it was upright or flat on ground and fit under the seat on the plane.
