I've used this on my dog because she has skin allergies from food, so not to irritate her skin I purchased this. It's sensitive enough for dogs with such allergies as well as it's made with natural ingredients and not tested on animals. It left her coat shinny and silky and her skin irritations are slowly calming the rashes down.

  • Excellent Product!!!

My pit bull has sensitive skin. This product produces hair growth and skin rejuvenation. I like how many shampoo's I get from a bottle. It lather's up and rinse's easily leaving a fresh, clean scent. Alternating with the Tea Tree and Brightening Shampoo is seemless. I highly recommend this entire line of dog grooming products.

  • Next best thing to a professional groom

My senior cat has had skin issues, such as sebaceous cysts, for years. She also has (ahem...sorry) *hygiene* issues due to her weight. She needs a bath every 1-2 weeks or she's greasy and flaky and she leaves her, um, personal stains on whatever surface she contacts. Like my bed. And my clothes. Anyway, I found John Paul Pet Oatmeal Pet Shampoo for sensitive skin and decided to try it for all of the above reasons. It's wonderful! It cleanses well, rinses thoroughly, is extremely gentle, and doesn't leave a strong scent afterwards. I don't need a separate conditioner, either. I use this on my double-coated Belgian Tervuren, and ALL of the JP products I use (shampoo, conditioning rinse, conditioning spray) leave his coat in fabulous, squeaky-clean condition! No sticky residue; rinses clean and makes blow/brushing out easy after shampooing. Constantly get compliments on his coat!

  • soft and shiny

I have been using this shampoo along with the oatmeal rinse and leave-in spray conditioner (between baths) over three months. My two black labs have beautiful, healthy, shiny and soft coats. I am happy too that Paul Mitchell products are cruelty free. The scent is light and subtle.

  • Delicious smelling!

This is my favorite shampoo- makes you want to bury your face in your dogs fur and take a big whiff! Not something I'd normally want to do given what Tilly rolls in. Jon Paul's conditioner and leave-in conditioner spray are absolutely marvelous, too. After bath time, my dogs hair is shiney and easy to comb through, with delicious almond fragrance.

  • Toy poodle lifesaver

    By on

Looking for a good oatmeal shampoo for my curly haired toy poodle. Tried SO MANY and this is by far the best! I combined this with their leave-in conditioner and detangler. Worked beautifully - took me 1/2 the time to blow her out and comb her!

  • Smells Wonderful

    By on

I love that it says "Tested on Humans" on the bottle. It smells so delicious, like almond sugar cookies! It made our Shelties coats look full and glossy. I only wish it came in big jugs as we use a lot of it and it gets expensive. If your best friends sleep on the sofa and the bed as ours do - this is the one to buy.

Great shampoo!! Smells nice and it made my dogs fur smooth. I used JP leave in conditioner after her bath, her fur is so silky soft and she has not been scratching.
