My 18 month old English Cream Retriever is obsessed with this new toy. Unfortunately, by the second day, it had several puncture holes and dents. We are continuing to play with it even though it is no longer egg shaped. I'm undecided about ordering another.
My heeler is obsessed! He cannot pick this up in his mouth so he can't chew it up! It's pretty scratched up but I'd say almost indestructible. This is an outdoor toy at our house because it causes a lot of excitement!
its probably my fault but i didn't realize it was going to be hard plastic. the dogs did not like it one bit.
In the video, I saw the person press the toy as if it were a soft-ish rubber. It's hard plastic that my dogs cannot grip to pick up. I was unsure when I bought it whether it was hollow or would hold up to them grabbing it at. So it is in fact hollow, hard plastic that I'm sure would be fun for a pup to push around and chase after. It also has a small hole at the top, so not good for water play unless the hole is plugged.
My dog was confused and doesn’t know how to play with this. He keeps trying to pick it up like a ball.
I have a corgi with a lot of energy. This has been a great toy for him. It's a little loud on the tile and it has deep scratches in it now, but it's honestly so entertaining to watch him play with it.
I bought this hoping that my dog would run around with it and chase it and it would keep her occupied for long periods of time due to its shape. I'm not sure if it was the color or shape or what, but my girl would avoid this toy at all costs. Very sad that she was scared of it. I tried to train her out of it to no avail.
I didn't have high hopes but this thing is in our Elkhounds top 3 toys. She absolutely loves it and it works as designed. Which is absolute chaos for anyone else in the household as she launches this egg shaped torpedo with reckless abandon throughout the house. But the unbridled joy she appears to be experiencing while hunting and attempting to destroy the egg is worth it. Very few toys last her more than a few minutes but this one doesn't hardly have a scratch despite her best efforts.
Bought this thinking our herding breed puppy would love it, but she didn’t “get” it. She went after it but couldn’t get into pushing it around, got frustrated with not being able to bite it. Maybe she’ll like it in the future!
My Cairn Terrier puppy loves chasing around with this for long periods of time. Its a great way for hi to run off excess energy.
