This fun-filled ball is as easy to fight over as it is to fling! The Jolly Pets Tug-n-Toss Red Dog Toy has an attached handle that makes tug-of-war a fair match between you and your tail-wagging ball of fur. Toss it in the yard and there's no telling which way it will bounce when it lands on the handle. Throw it in the pool, and let Dumplin' dive after it... it floats! The Tug-n-Toss is made of a non-toxic material that won't deflate.
Non-toxic low density polyethylene toy that's great for bouncing, pouncing, chewing, or tugging.
Handle makes pulling easy during interactive games like tug-o-war.
Ball will never deflate, even when punctured by rough chewers, so they'll be many hours of playtime for your pup.
Perfect for playing with in water or on land. It floats so you can bring it to the pool, lake, or beach.
My dog loves playing with this in the backyard. He normally doesn't have interest in bigger balls but the handle makes it fun for him to carry around and we can also play tug. This is definitely not a chew toy though and I am starting to see big teeth marks on the handle. We take the toy away when the dog loses interest in fetching so he doesn't completely gnaw the handle off. Due to the fact that the handle will probably get chewed off eventually I would say this isn't worth full price but I managed to buy it on sale so I'm giving it a full 5 stars.

Our eight year old Wire Fox Terrier still has the energy of a pup along with the digging instincts and stubbornness of his breed and therefore can't be allowed to run free in our extensively landscaped yard. Thus, doesn't get to run off that pent up energy. Jolly Tug-n-Toss toy is the answer. I have attached a 25 ft. cord to the ball and outside we go. As soon as I bring it out, he goes wild, jumping and chasing. I let the cord out gradually, swinging it around my head and he runs and jumps like a wild man. I can swing it way out, release it and off he goes. He grabs the handle in his teeth and takes off, rolling it around, tossing, rolling and playing tug with endless abandon. He literally wears himself out, never gets distracted by birds or rabbits, or finds something his sniffer peeks his interest to start digging. He totally concentrates on his "Jolly Ball". It's the perfect toy to help him get maximum exercise.
After several months, he will have chewed through and destroyed the handle with his sharp teeth and we will have to get a replacement, its worth it. By the way, this is Number 2.… more

I disregarded the size suggestions and bought the XL size for my 4 month old Rottweiler puppy and she absolutely loves this ball. It is large for her now, but she loves the challenge of trying to get the handle in her mouth and lugging it around. This keeps her entertained for hours! As she grows, she'll be able to handle it more easily. I can see where her tenancy to chew is already wearing at the handle, but this is expected and for the price, you really can't beat it. It is very durable.
Great for my German Shepherd!

I had always heard great things about Jolly Balls. I decided to bite the bullet and get one, and I am SO glad I did! I got the 8 inch ball and it is a great size for my 80 lb German Shepherd. He can bite the actual ball or the handle. It does not squeak so it is a toy that he can have at any time. He has an absolute blast with it and it is VERY durable. He is constantly sinking his teeth into this toy and chewing very aggressively on the handle and it is still in great shape.
If you're looking for a durable, safe toy that can be used indoors or out, look no further. I am extremely happy with this purchase and may even get him a couple other sizes to play with.
Not For An Aggressive Chewer

We thought since our large pit mix loves to play tug of war & fetch that this was a match made in heaven. But boy were we wrong. He ate he handle in about 5 minutes and couldn't be further interested in the ball. Oh well. Now we know.
Handle is not hollow.

I boiught this for my compulsive chewing pit mix. I really had hoped after the response that the handle was soild that it would last longer before she destroyed it. She had the handle's corner destroyed after a couple hours.

I had ordered one of these about a year ago and it finally gave way. I just received this one middle of June and in one day my dog tore it up. It was not made as durable as original one. I am very disappointed as i thought it would last as long as first one.
By Far One Of My Dogs Favorite Toys

I may have to buy another one because he seems to bring it inside and out. He absolutely loves it. He chews on it, flings it around and plays with it. Great buy.

My daughter has a pit/ great Dane mix and she's super rough on toy's, this ball is fantastic and has held up to her destructive chewing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a dog that is a big chewer.
I wish my bully mix liked it

Straight up, there is nothing wrong with the ball. It's my silly staffy/BMC doggo, who shreds some toys, won't touch it. It may be the weight of the ball. She loves to shake toys, but this would bop her hard if she tried that. I plan to donate this to a local group that rescues lots of bully breeds/mixes from death row.
