    For Cats with Claws!

By Great on May 31, 2021

I don't declaw my cats, albeit I do clip their claws a little, since they are indoor cats. My only issue has been their clawing through catbox liners, which I like using, because it saves scrubbing out the box at every little change. The only liner I have found that works is Jonny Cat. They have clawed through every other liner. One caveat is that I do not use clumping litter; I change the litter, and therefore the liner, completely every three or four days. Once in a while there is a small tear in the liner, but it does not let much litter through. I always put the litter into another bag anyway, along with all the other trash, such as the bag the fresh litter came in, so a small leak in the I don't declaw my cats, albeit I do clip their claws a little, since they are indoor cats. Huge gashes matter, and that's what I got with other liners. I imagine if I used clumping litter, and so only did complete litter changes every few weeks, the cats would manage to claw through the liners, even Jonny cat brand. If you use clumping litter, you probably should just resign yourself to washing the box every complete change, and not use liners. As it is, I change it twice a week, and wash it probably once a month. Before I put the liner in the box, I usually spritz it with a litterbox deodorizer. I never have a problem with litterbox odor, nor with the cats rejecting the boxes. … more

    Jumbo Cat Liners?

    By Sculptmom1 on Aug 14, 2021

Calling these cat box liners “Jumbo” is misleading, not big enough for my cat boxes, guess I should have known that jumbo doesn’t translate to XXLarge.

    Jonny Cat heavy duty liners

By Ellie on May 20, 2021

These liners were much stronger than any of the others I have tried. The cats didn’t claw their way through them. These are the best I’ve tried

The liners help keep the boxes cleaner. The cats are able to put holes in the liners with their claws

    Did not like them

By Meechie on Sep 24, 2020

I purchased two boxes because I had hope in them. What a waste of money! It states they are tough enough for cats but they are not. I also accidentally tore the bags with the plastic litter scoop. I do not recommend. Now I have two boxes that I'm stuck with. Will never purchase again.

    Packaging was the Issue

By Demrie on Sep 30, 2020

The product is great. The packaging was NOT. They box was smashed between containers of litter and all of the liners were loose in the larger box and the liner box they came in completely destroyed. That is my only complaint.

    My cats tear them.

By Linda on Aug 8, 2020

I'm thinking all the liners tear. I haven't found one that hasn't. I lift the bag up and alot of the litter comes out the bottom. Manufacturers need to make all liners alot stronger. Another problem is their to big for my pan. I have a round one with a hood. It's not Chewy's fault, they just sell them. I'm not blaming them and being honest. I like these but they need to be made better and need to make round liners. Mine is 18 " round and about 6 " deep.
