LOVE IT
My veterinarian recommended this to me for my pug, she can get a very itchy/dry skin even with medicated shampoo and conditioner. Getting to the root of the problem with this oil supplement has been wonderful. Everyone tells me how shiny her coat is, and we don’t have the itchiness issue anymore. And in the long run, this is also great for joints which I’m concerned about for her, and that’s also why my vet recommended it. It also lasts such a long time too, depending on the size of your dog and dose. Our last bottle lasted us 8 months and that’s using it daily!
Still trying out stage
I have been giving this to my dog for about 2 weeks. I have not noticed any positive changes. My dog still scratches often. But it might just be allergies. The bottle is nice. It does not have a pump so it is a lot less messy than the ones that come with pumps. This does not stink heavily of fish like the product I used prior. Will use up the bottle and see if the itching subsides.
This + Weight-Loss has Made ALL the Difference
My mutt was diagnosed with arthritis as a young adult dog. I was instructed to give her 4000mg of combined DHA/EPA. My dog is also prone to loose stools so I was worried about giving her a lot of oil. This product is the ONLY one that I have found to be a concentrated source of those two chemicals. I combined this with weight-loss, and now I no longer have to give her carprofen. I also have stopped using any other joint supplements ontop of this. She runs and plays day in and day out without any issues. Extra bonus is her coat is softer and she sheds slightly less. The difference has been so remarkable that I am also using this in my rottie who has undergone a TPLO and will need a hip replacement later in his life. TLDR: I love this product. Saw a significant difference when combined with getting my dog to an ideal weight. Consistently buy and use for all my dogs.
The best
I usually bought the frozen Just For Dogs food for my dogs. But with this fish oil and the nutrients package that I got it is so much easier and cheaper to make my own
Omega Oil Supplement
This is a great supplement for my dog. Have been using for over a year now. No smell, and his coat is beautiful.
Dog loves it but the bottle leaks a bit
I add this to the DIY recipes as well as put some on her dry kibble and she gobbles it up. Her coat is looking shinier in just a week! Chewy sent this in a plastic bag so when it leaked it was contained and didn't ruin any other items in the box! It's definitely got a fishy smell and I have not found a way to put some oil on her food without making a mess every time. Maybe a pump would be a good addition?
