Perfect feeder for vacation
By Bonion on Oct 25, 2020
This feeder has enabled me to go on trips and not worry about my parakeets. My neighbor can simply refill the feeder from the outside of the cage, and I don't have to worry about him sticking his arm in there to reach for food cups, scaring the birds and potentially letting them escape! I can put as many as I want on the cage. I love this feeder and thank the inventor of it!

not impressed
By Cakebaker on Apr 22, 2020
I just spent 1/2 hour trying to separate the feeder for installation. Almost broke off the two prongs but lubricated them with Vaseline. Good concept but needs to be re structured and made with a perch.

Spills food everywhere!
By HuskyMom on May 11, 2020
These are terrible, they spill bird food all over the floor because of a gap between the feeder and the food dispenser

Wastes food, Great for trips.
By Claire on Jul 29, 2019
The biggest problem with this feeder is that my budgies will put almost Half of the seeds on the bottom of the cage! Every time they eat the food, the seeds spill over onto the bottom of the cage. The only reason why I didn't rate this product 1 star is because it is great for long trips. My budgies can last 4-6 days without needing the container refilled. If this feeder was working properly they would most likely be able to last 7-12 days without needing it refiled.

works well but very difficulty to install
By dottif on Jun 22, 2019
It holds a lot of food and it works very well. It was very difficult to install and I was worried I might break it while trying to secure it to the cage. The bars do block the opening but it does not matter, the food still comes out. I wish it had a perch attachment. You cannot pick the color or the plastic.

I broke it almost instantly!
By Lola on Apr 5, 2019
This seems to fit any cage, however, the opening for the food to come out is blocked by my cage bars! You have to pull it apart to install it, and the plastic is so thin that it forces you to break it. It is a failure by design. I ordered three, was able to open one with great difficulty, broke the second one entirely, and broke one side of the third one. The silo part is not very secure at all, and if you cover your cage at night, you will probably knock it right off the holster. Also, unless you install it so it's sticking up beyond the top of the cage, it's almost impossible to fill. Two of three are attached (PERMANENTLY unless you break it to remove it) and the birds are getting use out This seems to fit any cage, however, the opening for the food to come out is blocked by my cage bars! broke from refill
By derpbirb on May 30, 2019
I took the tray out to refill pellets for my birds then the handle that connects the tray to the silo broke. I was worried it will break in the beginning since the handle holding the silo together was just two dots. Would not recommend>:(

Disliked the product
By Cocofinch on Jun 5, 2019
The seed tray was stuck to the base and couldn't be attached to the cage. Product can't be used. But I liked their water feeder, so maybe I just received a faulty one.

Cheap and does not work
By SueG on Jan 25, 2019
Poorly made. Spent nearly an hour trying to fasten it to a basic cage. The pieces are brittle, barely fit together where they're supposed to, extremely difficult to adjust or slide off where they're supposed to, screw is so short it's very difficult to try to place it properly around the bars. I finally resorted to improvising with zip ties to keep pieces from breaking and to try to hold it in place and then gave up. Meanwhile, the silo is so loose it's impossible not to spill food everywhere. JW toys are cheap and work fine. These silo feeders (and the water silo) are cheap and you get what you pay for. Made the water one work, barely. It's a simple concept so extremely frustrating that it's Poorly made. Spent nearly an hour trying to fasten it to a basic cage. Seed Silo Bird feeder
By MaggieB on May 15, 2019
Feeder fits perfectly in the cage. I like it but wish it were able to hold more seed.
