JW Pet Gripsoft Cat Comb

Our 13 year old gray cat (Miss Moose) frequently has a few flakes of dandruff that show up on her pretty fur. I brush her regularly, but my cat vet suggested a comb might be better... so I ordered this one. As usual, the vet was right!!! This is amazing. I feel guilty now for never ordering something like this before! It works so well... and Moosie tolerates it very well.

I am using this comb on my first cat who is a long haired beauty! She thankfully doesn't mind me brushing and combing her and keeps purring. I like using this alongside their brush - brush to catch the hair and then comb to get any tangles. It is easy to use and clean. I am happy with this purchase!

I really like the handle. I can good grip and it is comfortable. The handle is big so initially my Freddie was not having it but he has gotten used to it now. The teeth are close together and this has its pros and cons. If you have a cat with a thick coat this may not work as well but I am happy with. My cat is a typical tabby so the comb goes through his fur well and it is great for teasing out the occasional small matte.

i have a himalayan with long, thick fur and i love the job this comb does! it really gets to the underhair and keeps her coat beautiful and she likes when i use it on her!

This comb is perfect. I have a medium-long haired cat who likes being brushed but I wanted something finer to get near his rear and underneath his armpit areas. This is exactly what I wanted. The handle is comfortable, the tines are perfect to gently get through the fur, down to the skin, and it isn't too long of a comb. I was having trouble getting a full-length metal comb into his armpit areas. Great quality.

So this didn’t really work at all for my short haired cat so chewy refunded me and I gave it away—but I just heard from who I gave it to that it works great on their medium haired cats! F for short hair, A for medium!

My cat CAN NOT GET ENOUGH of this comb. It takes off all the shed and undercoat makes cat very soft. She seeks it out and tumbles all over it when its lying on the floor rubbing her cheeks on it. I was leery at first, but she loves it so much!!!! I am happy it was a perr-fect fit !!

The metal bristles aren't sharp on the ends and don't scratch our cat's skin. It isn't as fine-toothed as a metal brush but because it's gentler she will tolerate longer brushing which gets the job done, it just takes a bit longer. The comb clumps the fur at the top which makes it easy to remove and keep clean. The handle is great ergonomically and comfortable too.

This comb performs really well. One of my cats was getting a few matted areas on his back. Using this comb in conjunction with the TropiClean detangling spray worked wonderfully. His coat is now mat-free and looks shiny. All my cats enjoy brush time with his comb. I’ll will be buying another one along with the brush and flea comb. Highly recommend!

Both of my cats love to be combed with it. The gripsoft handle makes it easy to hold and it removes loose cat hair so there is less to clean up off the floor or furniture.
