    Happy you have these

    By on

Happy you have these. I had a pair of these for Trixie and I misplaced them. We had her front claws removed sho just needed for her back like once a year or so. But these are the absolute best and won't scare your kitty with those huge ones that most stores try to sell you. Thank you, Thank you!! PS. Trixie passed in April, she was 16 yrs old in human years. We now have Lucy our lil tortie/ tabby/Calico, she's 13 weeks old..

The trick to cutting nails on a tough cat

    By on

I use a very thin sheet to pick up my big boy rescue. I gingerly cover his head and body while I’m seated in a chair in a sunny area. Then I expose one limb at a time and with one finger behind his elbow, not allowing him to pull his arm away, causing absolutely no discomfort to him. Then identify the vein in the nail & cut just above it. If you mistakenly cut the vein, use flour or a shaving septic stick/stone to stop the tiny bit of blood. Make sure to close the room door before trying to pick him/her up with the sheet, otherwise escape will happen. This all should take two minutes w/o incident. Best Of Luck! Or I’m sure there are tutorials on You Tube...

    Why not???

    By on

I usually used human nail clippers and it wasnt always a nice smooth cut. So eventually i ordered these and i have been pleased! It is very easy to put my fingers through and sneak some clips from my cats. Usually my cats have to be lounging around to let me but they are pretty good about it. My only complaint is these are made for little hands. So if you dont have little hands they woll be uncomfortable. I make it work even though by the end of 20 nails my fingers feel stuck and uncomfortable. I do recommend these!

    Great little clippers

Bought these to try to get my little 8 week old kitten used to getting his nails clipped. I like the angle of the clippers and the soft handles, got the job done nice and quick.

    Juliee giving in

    By on

My chaweenie refused for months to let me clip her nails. I asked the local groomer how they did it and she told me cat nail clippers....well, it works!!! So much better and 1/10th the cost of having the groomer do it!!!

    Better than the average!

    By on

I 'lost' my cats other nail clippers for a short period of time and purchased these to replace them. These are way better than my old ones! The handle is fairly thick, which help with the grip. The clipping section is also heavier, so I can get a more precise cut.

Ordered this item when I'd (the cat did it1) misplaced my 'goog' clippers. Not at all pleased with these too small clippers (for Sir Purrsival @ his 18+ pounds + abundant fur!

My kitten does not like his nails cut! This is the first nail trimmer I’ve been able to use without a “cat fight”!! I definitely recommend it! :)

    Good Nail Clippers

    By on

It does as advertised. Only 4 stars because although it was fine for me, the handle holes are too small for larger fingers.
