This is hands-down the best dematting grooming tool that I have ever used on my rough Collie! It works very gently and is also great for getting out his undercoat. This is honestly a must-have item for any rough Collie owner, and I’m sure it works just as well for all other long-haired and undercoat-heavy breeds.

The prongs are too long for use on my cat. I couldn't see that from the picture when I ordered it. It would work better on a very long haired dog or maybe cat.

i didn’t realize this was huge. my bad. i have a puppy now, mini schnauzer, and this is far too big. will donate it to someone local. would be great for a big furry dog.

Best money I have ever spent for everyday care of my Goldendoodle. It got out EVERY single mat he had, including some pretty intimidating ones on his sensitive tail. I rewarded his patience with lots of treats. Dog parents—be sure to not go at it like a regular brush or you could pierce the skin, hold at a slight angle. I simply cannot believe it works! I was preparing to apologize profusely to our groomer, but this solved the problem.

I have been trying to find a good demat brush for my huskies and saint bernard mix that doesn't pull at their fur and this works like a dream! No hair pulling at all and all of my dogs let me freely brush them with this one! I highly recommend!

Not what I expected. But could work for some dogs.

I use this to thin and shorten my horses mane. She won't let me pull it but this leaves it looking natural and not too thick.

This is the best product that I have ever purchased for my dog. ITS LIKE MAGIC!

This tool isn't very pet friendly. Pretty abrasive against skin.

My dog is prone to mats and I use to chase her around the house with scissors, cutting them off. Now all I have to do is brush her with the dematting rake daily and they come right out.
