Very comfortable grip

I like these a lot. I have tiny dogs and these are great for cutting their nails without pinching. I cut smal pieces at a time. Easier on the pups.

Awesome Clippers

My chihuahua hated his paws being touched, let alone cutting his nails. His nails were so long, with these clippers I was able to cut his nails quickly and easily, before he could get away! So nice to have a chihuahua with short nails.

Poorly made

I purchased this thinking it would be helpful in trimming my dog's nails. It looked like it would be much easier to use than the guillotine style nail clipper. The clipper itself requires quite a bit of dexterity to place the dogs nail within the designated area while squeezing the clipper. Additionally, it only allows you take very small amounts off at a time due to the nail guard which obscures your cutting field. Not impressed; which I had saved the packaging, I would send back.

Too difficult to use

While good quality, I found these difficult to use. They don't open very wide and there is a safety at the back that doesn't allow you to place the nail in correctly. While I understand this is a safety factor to keep from cutting the nails too short this safety latch keeps you from being able to do little more than snip the tip of the nail. These would work well for an extra small dog or maybe a cat but a true medium size dog, no.

I've only used these clippers once so far and they are good and sharp. Great for puppy or small breed of dog or cat.

Smaller than expected

Thoughr these would be a little bigger since theyre supposed to be for medium breeds. They are smaller than I expected. They do get the job done. The grip is garbage and came off very quick.
