JW Pet Gripsoft Slicker Brush comes equipped with a rubber-sheathed handle design, which offers extreme comfortability and precision. This Gripsoft technology features non-slip grips which are made to optimize comfort and control while grooming your furry friend. The complete Gripsoft line offers a variety of designs specifically made to address each of your pet's needs to ensure a beautifully soft and shiny coat.
Metal teeth in two different lengths lift shedding hair from the undercoat and loosen lightly matted portions of fur. The teeth are turned 90 degrees away from the skin keeping them parallel to the skin to prevent "raking" the skin and make grooming more comfortable for your dog.
For best results, use brush daily to remove dead or shedding hair
Slicker brush features rounded head and slightly angled pins
The most effective on double coated breeds with thick fur
Gripsoft technology features non-slip grips and an ergonomically designed handle made to fit the natural curvature of your hand
Designed to optimize comfort and control while grooming your furry friend
When grooming, brush in the direction of your pet's hair growth, taking care to use gentle strokes. Remove hair from the grooming tools weekly and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
My 10 year old heeler loves being brushed. This brush pulls out all of the dead undercoat, so it works great that way. My only issue is that it's hard to clean all that hair out of the pins, especially if you don't have a comb.
Love it! Pet grooming student approved!

As a pet grooming student I am constantly practicing my grooming skills on a variety of different coat types. I find most slickers have too flexible and short bristles to get through thicker coats. This brush does the trick. I regularly practice on a pomeranian, now that I have this brush its SO much easier to groom him. The bristles at sturdier and longer. I love the quality of this brush!
Just Seems Okay
on Jul 16, 2018
My American Eskimo Dog doesn’t seem to love this brush. He sits there for a little while because he likes the attention. But he keeps an eye on what I’m doing as if to say, ”Be careful, Mom.” He walks away much sooner than with his old brush. Maybe this brush is too sharp or stiff? Not sure. I use very gentle strokes. It’s very hard to remove hair from the brush. It gets a short brushing session completed, so I think it’s just okay.
Great for removing Fox tails, burrs, etc.!

We have a lot of fox tails on our property and this brush easily removes the fox tails hiding in my dogs' fur, both my long- and short-haired dogs. They don't complain at all when I brush them, so I'm happy!!

This brush is excellent. The grip is good and the price can't be beat.easy on the animal.
German Shepherd Approval
on Jan 20, 2018
My 4 month old German Shepherd hated being brushed with his old brush. He wouldn't sit still and kept trying to run away. This made it difficult after baths or his everyday brushing. I looked into this brush hoping it'd make his experience better and it did. He sits down and let's me brush him and he'll even roll on his belly! His old brush didn't get all the lose fur either. This brush gets it all. If your pup/dog doesn't like brushing this brush helps and makes their coat look amazing and so soft.

I love the handle style which allows me better control during brushing. It allows me to position the brush head at every angle I choose with just a change in wrist position. I love the brush style, just what I was searching for in a brush.
Great Big Brush

The tines on this slicker are harder than I expected. Using a light touch and brushing away from the skin are critical. Use only for thick coats.

Difficult to clean

The brush works great, but is very difficult to clean the hair out of.
