Abbi doesn’t seam to mind being brushed with this brush. The other brushes we have tried pulled on her terrier hair. I gave it a 4 only because it takes a little extra time to clean the hair from the brush. Thank you Chewy, you always seam to pick great products for us.

I breed Mini Aussiedoodles and we recently included a JW brush and JW comb in our puppy packs that we send home with all our families! A great brush and comb set for all new Doodle puppy owners and at a really great price! A good comb and slicker brush is pretty nessesary for Poodle mix puppies and that's really all you'll need to keep their coats looking their best and mat free inbetween grooming appointments... and they do need professional grooming appointments as well unless you know what you're doing with the clippers! The price you pay for owning a shed free dog will be paid in grooming needs! They grow long and fast and if you don't brush them regularly they can mat as well. This brush has a good rubber grip. My puppy sits through getting brushed with no problem. The metal bristles are not super sharp, but still able to get a good amount of shedding hair.

This brush works well for my doodle(has poodle texture curls). Nice handle for grip. Good price

I was skeptical about buying this brush because of the variation of reviews. The bristles look very sharp & painful but my dog seems to be okay with it. Gets her knots out super easy without any pain.

Everyone wants to take turns with this brush. I had bought it in hopes that the animals would like it; and it worked!!! Loving it.

I selected this brush after the high reviews and recommendations - it did not disappoint! Collects the hair nicely. Only downfall, collecting it from the brush. Don’t know if there is a trick to it.

I bought this thinking it would be a great puppy brush for my long coat chihuahua but it is far too stiff and sharp. It would probably be fine for a slightly larger dog with a much thicker coat

He whines when I try to brush him with it. I don’t blame him, I ran it down my arm just to see what it felt like and it hurts. I don’t reccomend this brush for any dog.

This brush has worked well for our small cockapoo. He does not like to be brushed and this one is soft enough that he tolerates it.
